The current House rules as they work – on the House floor you can’t mention that Trump has been indicted. You can however reference the trial only to point out that it is a sham. But you can’t say that it has merit. If you do, the words are stricken from the record. You can’t make this stuff up!

Trump wants more power than most kings hold.

Yeah, but this is about the House.
Technically speaking, it’s about protocols. You’re not supposed to accuse a sitting or ex-President of a crime outside of a special session. But then, when an ex-President is formally accused of a crime, nobody should be allowed to bring it up and attack the judicial process (thereby interfering in the process of another branch of government) and call the accusations a sham. Once that door was opened, then the chair ought to have allowed a full discussion.

Perhaps the Democrats need to refer to Trump’s many crumpets, rather than his crimes. Or they could refer to the crimes of a hypothetical President Rump.

Pretty much that’s the Republican platform. It certainly isn’t governing. And it’s certainly not democracy or freedom.

Democrats need to refer to . .
Anything but his MAGAsty. In the bad old days of media it was called “saturation advertising”. At what point do people get sick and tired of being sick and tired of seeing that distortion of humanity absolutely dominating all forms of media?
The going is weird, time to turn pro.

You are just mimicking the Democratic talking points to scare people into voting against Trump.
The problem is that despite his awful rhetoric during his first term, Trump acted like a President, not a dictator.
Trump is not a nice guy but he is not the demon you want us to believe..

It’s just his usual clickbait. It’s how some folks make ends meet when their day job doesn’t work out…..

John – he actually did act like a dictator with executive orders and other acts of overreach, but was thwarted by the checks and balances of the system. And he attempted a coup at the end. The checks and balances may not hold the next time around.
I mean, how short are memories????

These aren’t all left wing sources by the way.
I don’t give a f— that he’s not a nice guy. My concern is that he was the most authoritarian President since Andrew Jackson who pushed our checks and balances to the limit. And they may not withstand another test of four years.

So that’s it. Just Trollin’ is jealous that Eric might be earning $0.03/month at WordPress. Eric, say it ain’t so!

Given that I see no ads whatsoever on this site, it’s not clear to me where even 3 cents a month would come from.
Meanwhile, I’m pretty sure Eric is doing just fine, professionally and financially.

EK, this is funny because democrats did the same restrictions of free speech for their people…

John, “acting” is as bad as “dictating”…likely worse since a dictator needs no acting and everyone knows is no bullshit…
… thing is, Trump did nothing good…but his con-man rhetoric did inspire people to be more patriotic…about a country that is a big lie…
