Thanks to Carol for the heads up. I will note that there is barely any mention in the article of the allegations of presiding over trials with a conflict of interest, which may not be sexy, but are most pertinent to the role of judge.
One has to wonder where the local media was during this four-year investigation. John Chiv apparently reported on it in 2020. Has the local media become so deferential to local power that it just ignores anything that might involve stepping on toes?

if there were so many court hearings on the matter, there should be more from Chiv alone than just a 2020 blerp… why EK is vexing all others…🤷♂️ a simple google search reveals at least a handful of media outlets ran a 2020 article…
… maybe the investigators are ghostly too, despite being a non-local agency… no hearings, etc… until recently.👀

but likely is not gonna get caught blurping out stuff to appear partial, or to appear against “innocent until proven guilty”…
… it does not matter who wins, as both will continue the injustice of the system they both bow down too for a profitable career…
…ever read a sob story of a broke judge… nope, judges retire quite well-to-do to wealthy… right or wrong, the injustice system is a lucrative wealth building scheme…

Let’s be honest. The Humboldt County media for the most part is a fucking joke and a disgrace to the journalism profession be as most of our local so-called journalists are straight- up cowards. Asshole racist Republican County Supervisor Rex Bohn’s adult son Trevor Bohn (better known as the pepper-spraying, kidnapping child torturer) can commit non-stop crimes without a mention from the local media (other than John Chiv), but if some random homeless schizophrenic in SoHum shoplifts something, you can be sure that it will be featured as a top “news” story on The Redheaded Blackbelt. For all of you out there who have had it with the spineless local media, start writing letters to the editor, start calling KMUD Radio (707) 923-3911 to talk about it on the airwaves, and keep blogging about it! GET LOUD!!

FYI Henchman, I was supporting Ms. Dyke back in December, before I knew anything about the Judicial Council charges.
