Shomik Mukherejee has the story at the Time Standard.

He remains suspended, and yet his name is at the top of every document and pleading I receive pertaining to county business.  The motion to dismiss was partly granted, although the new complaint will be pled to sustain all causes of action.  He hadn’t pled to complying with the government claims statute – you have to submit a written claim before filing a lawsuit against a government agency.  He did that apparently, but failed to state he did in his complaint.  It’s a stupidly technical thing to demur on in my opinion, but that’s how some attorneys roll.

I’m really curious about the allegations of anti-Semitism.

Of course, as we’ve discussed Mr. Blanck is not the only department head to have had troubles with the un-elected Human Resources office.
