How about serious cuts to the DEA budget?  The discussion started last month.

Attorney General Eric Holder, whose Justice Department oversees the DEA, issued a memo last month telling the agency (as well as the FBI, ATF and U.S. Marshals Service) to freeze hiring and curb non-personnel spending.

That came around the same side as conservative Republicans in the House said they planned deep budget cuts — which, according to Democrats, would require the DOJ to fire 4,000 FBI agents and 1,500 DEA agents if applied across the board.

The article doesn’t state how much money would be saved.

Addendum: On that deficit reduction, the House GOP budget plan, with all those policy exemptions and refusals to consider tax increases on the most wealthy, will reduce the deficit by…….. two percent.

Oh, and here’s a Fox News analysis.  Several minutes into the video one of the right wingers interviewed accuses Obama of being in league with (brainwashed by) the Muslim Brotherhood.

There may not be many more videos however.  Mubarak has seized BBC’s equipment.  Other journalists, including WAPO reporters, have been formally arrested.  Here’s a NYT summary of the crackdown on journalists thus far.
