suzy,
I finally made it to see the YouTube you suggested. Yes, I did like it. You may really like – Hopi Prophecy and the nine key signs in relation to the Great Purification – Chris Bourne.
@ Forest, thanks i just watched the Hopi video. It was interesting, It gave me, dare i whisper it (hope). i liked the poem at the end . And especially the part about the meteor that he saw. A while back, i was out under the night sky just looking up at the awesomeness of it for a while, and then i saw a falling star, and soon after, another, a few were falling here and there, and then more, i heard a voice in my head like silence, and then a critical mass thing happened or something and –all of the stars in the sky fell together. This is true and it was more real than the computer you’re looking at. I suppose if someone needs a “scientific” explanation for it i’d say they must’ve bounced back up there real fast before anyone except suzy, and possibly a few others, noticed. But actually that part i don’t know. Okay folks, no stupid cracks about drugs or welfare necessary, heard it all before … just go back to the weed and the mom. I think that maybe the girl’s red influence exceeds her green influence.
suzy,
Thank you for sharing your story about witnessing the star’s motion and movement – way cool. Around Dec. 21st I witnessed some of nature’s action that brings one into awe. One was the three rainbows just east of Arcata. I think it’s tonight and the 23rd will be eclipses.
Mitch,
suzy is reiterating an amazing story. Your I, I, I, I’s are your same ol outdated opinions..
I don’t either. It’s racially insensitive maybe, given that this young woman’s mother can be deported at any moment – the risk being greater than someone else’s due to the color of her skin. But cluelessness isn’t necessarily racist.
I see the FQ comment more as the product of an insular local hippie culture that has a hard time listening to anyone outside of its milieu.
The point of the sign FQ is that this woman’s mother could be dragged into jail and shipped a thousand miles away any minute and really doesn’t give a damn if your handbag is made of hemp.
“I see the FQ comment more as the product of an insular local hippie culture that has a hard time listening to anyone outside of its milieu.”
Having been around our local hippie culture for a good long time now (and to be fair some might perceive me as part of it, though I don’t entirely feel that way myself), I don’t think most of FQ’s peculiar beliefs and obsessions are shared by all that many people within that subculture, and from what I’ve seen her rather extreme rigidity is shared by even fewer people. In fact my experience has been that most of the folks within this milieu are no more insular or rigid than members of other groups, and are in fact less rigid and insular than the average American.
But I wouldn’t be surprised if quite a few Humboldt folks would perceive the sign above as presenting a rather unhelpful and false dilemma, as if the movement to legalize cannabis somehow interferes with or detracts from the movement to legalize undocumented folks. In fact both movements address situations where huge numbers of people — disproportionately minorities — are locked up for no good reason, and their families torn asunder.
But I get where the girl in the photo is coming from, and I certainly don’t blame her for using that slogan. It’s certainly clever, and makes an interesting point in a very concise way — namely that there are probably quite a few people who are extremely interested in and outspoken about legalizing cannabis, but not all that concerned with (and not actively involved with) the movement to legalize undocumented folks. And there are probably at least some pro-cannabis-legalization folks who are actually opposed to the legalizing undocumented immigrants, though I’d be willing to bet that’s a rather small minority among those who are pro-cannabis legalization.
I tend to agree with the last sentence. Maybe some in the Libertarian crowd.
I think the photo appealed to me because quite frankly I do think there is an obsession over the issue. One of the reasons I stopped working so much with CLMP is that there are so many issues involving real serious civil liberties infringements. But one day a fellow Board member came in with some input we had solicited and said, “The members really want us to emphasize the pot issues. They don’t want us getting too distracted with other issues. This was on the heels of the pepper spray case. And when we had spent some time on the Driving While Black studies and discussed a forum on it, a Board member said,”Well what about when long haired people are pulled over? We don’t want to just focus on black people?”
I guess there was a certain logic to it since we have very few black people in the area, and maybe the resources should be spent on issues of local interest, letting the ACLU and other national groups address the issues more broad. But really, I would think that concern that someone driving through our community while black being pulled over because he’s black is a “local concern.”
Anyway, I served out the remainder of my term on the CLMP Board, and I’ve volunteered for specific tasks here and there ever since. But I kind of lost interest once the Board decided that we should focus almost exclusively on pot issues. They’ve branched out again since Code Enforcement and the General Plan Update came up, but I’m not always in agreement with them on those issues.
I’m bored to death with the whole cannabis issue. If I was to list my reasons for wanting it legalized, high on the list, boredom over the issue would probably be near the top. For me it’s like the abortion issue. I’ve heard every angle of it from every stakeholder. Every position. Nobody has said anything new about it for 20 years.
And maybe a little solidarity with other people whose human and basic rights are being compromised wouldn’t be such a bad idea. I wonder what this woman’s experience has been that she felt compelled to hold this sign. I’d love to interview her on KMUD.
Thanks for connecting those two seemingly divergent issues anon, I hadn’t thought about the policies having common impacts.
I wish I knew where my conservative reactions to immigration come from, as on a one-on-one basis I’m very compassionate with the undocumented members of our communities and know their impact on agriculture in the state. Hmm
“If I was to list my reasons for wanting it legalized, high on the list, boredom over the issue would probably be near the top.”
Well I appreciate your honesty, but with all due respect, that really comes off as quite self-centered. The urgency of changing an unjust law shouldn’t really depend on whether you find the injustices “boring” because you’ve heard about them many times.
Yes, it may be “boring” to be reminded that billions of tax dollars that could be better spent on education, health care, infrastructure, environmental protection or a host of other purposes are being wasted on the War on Pot.
It may be “boring” to be reminded that people are still being sent to prison for no good reason, that peoples’ kids are still being taken away from them, that people are still losing their voting rights and that their employment and other life opportunities are severely impacted.
It may even be “boring” to note that lower-income folks and minorities still suffer these consequences of the War on Pot at far greater rates than higher income folks and white anglos.
But your boredom doesn’t make these problems any less real for those who experience them, and it doesn’t make fixing the problem any more or less urgent. Or it shouldn’t, unless you’re judging political issues by how much entertainment value or intellectual stimulation you are able to derive from them.
And if that’s the case, then I guess the woman in the photo had better get on your radio show before you get “bored” with her issue. After all, it’s a longstanding injustice, it’s been discussed for many years, little has really changed, and there are few new arguments that haven’t already been made again and again. Yet somehow I don’t find her issue any less compelling because of that, or feel the need to mock or dismiss its importance.
I think many of us get tired of the cannabis issue, since it’s so prominent in the news here. But when you think about it, it’s only natural that it would be prominent in the news here, given the major role cannabis plays in our local economy and culture (like it or not).
I wonder if folks living in border communities or places with especially high numbers of undocumented immigrants get “bored” hearing about that issue all the time. Perhaps some do. Perhaps a few of those folks would even say that “high on the list” of reasons they’d like to see immigration reform passed is because they’re just bored of hearing about it. Which might be understandable…but still would not reflect very well on the person making that statement.
And no, I don’t think that the legalization of cannabis is the most urgent or important issue facing the nation, but I also don’t think that it’s very helpful to pit one issue against another. Otherwise you can pretty quickly get into stuff like “Isn’t it really self-indulgent for LBGT people to make such a big deal about same-sex marriage while we’re killing hundreds of thousands of Iraquis” or “it makes no sense to spend a lot of time on immigrant rights while we’re overheating the planet,” or “I’m sick of hearing about middle-class Americans fighting foreclosures when people are dying of AIDS in Africa” and so on.
Solidarity is pretty much the opposite of that approach. It’s not saying “fuck your issue, mine is more important,” it’s saying “I recognize the validity of the issue you’re passionate about, please recognize the validity of the issue I’m passionate about, and let’s both work together for both of those issues.”
I just don’t see the issues as anywhere near equivalent. Maybe it’s because I don’t smoke the stuff anymore, but even when I did, I just don’t see the issue as all that important on the scale of things – certainly not in comparison to laws which affect people where they have no options of behavior. If you were born on the wrong piece of geography, the law fucks you.
Yes, it’s annoying that the government is telling me what I can and can’t put into my body, but the seatbelt laws are annoying too. Stupid even. But not so intrusive into my life that I care to make a huge deal about it.
When it comes down to it, the marijuana fight is over a forbidden luxury, except maybe the handful of people who may or may not really need it as medicine. For this woman, it’s her life. She’s looking at permanent separation from her mother.
Marijuana has become almost a religion around here. It’s way out of proportion in my view. Yes, I oppose the tax money being spent on eradication, and the carnage the prohibition causes re the black market and criminal elements. And I would legalize it right now if I had the power. I would also legalize riding a vehicle without a seatbelt, which I think is a stupid act, but not one I believe to be the government’s business.
But on the scale of issues compared to war, poverty, environmental jeopardy, and immigration policies based on racial scapegoating, it just doesn’t even register as a priority for me.
I know that’s not bound to be popular around here, but I’ve been personally involved, or close to, too many situations where everything revolves around the religion. A girl encouraged not to report a rape, because it occured at the home of a grow in Willits, A conspiracy of silence at a party, almost by instinct, after a homeless man is killed by a vicious teenager. Environmental issues set aside, so that a local environmental group couldn’t even raise the issue of diesel without jeopardising its financial condition. The marijuana is the center of the universe – all else has to give way. It’s the new mill town mentality. And I’m kind of sick of it.
I just don’t see the issue as all that important on the scale of things – certainly not in comparison to laws which affect people where they have no options of behavior.
So how does the child whose parent is sent to prison for growing or selling pot have any “option of behavior” that is different from the child whose parent is deported? In both cases, the decision to break the (unjust) law was the parent’s decision.
I totally agree with you on the very serious problems that the black market creates, including the “milltown” dynamic you point out. Which is another excellent argument for the importance and urgency of legalization. And again, remarkably similar to the situation with undocumented immigrants — lots of unreported crimes and other social fallout because of the legal risk of reporting to authorities. Again, solidarity is about recognizing and highlighting the similarity between different forms of injustice, not about a contest between them.
You seem to have rather confused feelings about this issue. On the one hand, you’re “bored” with talk of legalization and go to great lengths to explain why you don’t think it’s really all that important, and then in the next breath you’re livid about the consequences of prohibition when it means rapes going unreported and environmental damage being ignored. If you’re sick and tired of the consequences of prohibition (as well you should be) then how can you be “bored” with the idea of legalization and think that it’s unimportant? Surely you can see the contradiction there?
Weed versus illegal alien? Or, is it weed versus wanna be a citizen?
Oh well, as if there are not MORE IMPORTANT ISSUES AND PEOPLE TO BE CONCERNED FOR. Immigration is a stale issue and will always be a stale issue because it ain’t about the person, it is about the process.
In America, government endorses “the process” and less much “the person” because it all comes down to “EXTRACTION”. What can American government “extract” that government fails extracting from the “home-growners” who are “catching-on” more and more to the FRAUDS and DECEITS about the “American Dream”.
Eric, geeze, where to begin?
Did you not say that you were in agreement to let the grown-ups handle it? Is your word not your bond? Would you take the witness stand, under oath, and tell the truth?
I MEAN, rather than invoke insightful conversation in here about what’s local, you choose to opine about me. I’m honored – but, talk about boring.
Of course you choose to Tax, labeled ‘Legali$e’ Kanabosm, (which is Control-labeled by the mongrel word ‘marijuana.’) Taxing nature (???) has NOTHING to do with getting ‘high,’ and EVERYTHING to do with placing Americans in the flat down-and-out position readied for the boot stomping in the face – that ONLY their continued Consenting, Cooperating, and Compliance can bring to fruition. Many, waaay too many, even Demand government step in and tell them how, why, what, when and where to think. They are mindless and therefore can’t float their own boat. ‘Legalize’ – more black ink blots on paper (Whoopie!) meant to swamp what’s left of the people’s minds in deciphering the nonsense CORPSE. CODES for another 20+ years – all the while running the masses through the Courtroom grinder $$$ and/or sent off (by compliance) to a Correctional Facility.
I don’t work at McDonalds, therefore, I don’t have to follow McDonald’s rules. It’s all about choice. I free will choose not to play in the Commercial Corporate sandbox.
Government (govern-control, mente-mind) growth. Isn’t that how we got in this mess in the first place?
So rather than wasting yet more time analyzing one another, can you give me one/any evidence for the claim to pay a TAX for a privilege, when I know it’s a right that can’t be Taxed?
It appears that you’re still standing on your head looking backwards in a mirror – cripe!
Surely you can see the contradiction there?
Nah. I would like to see the issue resolved. But I’m also bored with the discussion. I don’t think I’ve done a radio show on the topic in nearly a decade, not that there’s any shortage of the discussion on KMUD anyway.
If it was legalized, the whole subculture would be destroyed. I think that’s one reason so many locals will always vote against legalization. I don’t even think it’s just greed. I think they like it the way it is. Or has been anyway.
Oh well, as if there are not MORE IMPORTANT ISSUES AND PEOPLE TO BE CONCERNED FOR. Immigration is a stale issue and will always be a stale issue because it ain’t about the person, it is about the process.
Unless of course you happen to be one of those people.
Marijuana legalization is kind of an affluent white person issue but it shouldn’t be. There were interviews with African Americans who opposed Proposition 219 because they live with the consequences of drugs in their community every day. The legalization movement could benefit from a little outreach and communication with these communities.
Eric wrote, But I’m also bored with the discussion.
You and me both.
I think they like it the way it is.
I wish I could find that commentary in a Canadian newspaper I read years ago. It was basically a libertarian case against legalization. For example:
If it was legalized, many of those “friends” that supported legalization would then feel the need to regulate content and strength of it. It might also only be sold in stores so access would be limited. Now it’s available 24/7 and it’s very high quality as opposed to what it might be after being regulated.
Oh well, as if there are not MORE IMPORTANT ISSUES AND PEOPLE TO BE CONCERNED FOR. Immigration is a stale issue and will always be a stale issue because it ain’t about the person, it is about the process.
Unless of course you happen to be one of those people.
Response: Hmmmm, as if “those people” have it ALL THAT BAD compared to homegrowners who have it worse, Cry me a river Jordan.
Eric, I don’t think you get it. Legalizing weed isn’t about what you put into your body. Legalizing weed is about allowing human evolution to occur. I fully agree that all these progressive issues should be in solidarity and think that, well, climate change trumps all, but… if I was forced to choose, I’d choose legalizing weed before immigration, because…. as you or someone said, people who want to legalize weed are pro-immigration rights. In other words, they are evolved and that is one thing that will save the planet–expanded consciousness. Now I know that not everyone’s consciousness is expanded by cannabis, but hundreds of millions of people to have had that experience.
And that is why it’s illegal and why, historically, conquering hordes have destroyed shamanic plants, killed off medicine people, and throw pot smokers in jail world-wide to this day. To stem off free-thinking, and evolved consciousness. That is a historical fact. That is the reason and the most important reason that battle must be fought.
Grin Reaper,
What galaxy did you say you were from again? You say that, “Legalizing weed – stop right there – we (you n me) do not have an agreement on the terms of either of those words. “Legalize” to me means more Revenue Trolls will be needed to collect the TAX on nature that will inevitably be there (THAT’S WHAT CODES DO), thus dim-witedly transfering energy to the Levithan that rots as it expands. “Legalize” in it’s truest/basic form = Tax the people for the benefit of a very few. Can we agree on that?
Next, “weed” – slang for the recreational view – baked.
‘Legal weed’ would be an oxymoron at best. To return: ‘Legalizing weed (tbd) is about (a)llowing (from who, what or why?) human evolution to (o)ccur” – that is a mouthful of horse dooder Grin. “Human evolution,” as said ever so lightly, does NOT depend on ‘legalizing weed.’ – R U Serious?
I would agree that climate change trumps all. Side note: ‘global warming’ to Eric and Mitch. They refuse to make/take the leap to big boy’s words, such as ‘climate change.’
Return to repeat – People who use the words ‘Legalize weed’ are, by choice, blindly choosing to remain begging at the castle door. Taxes are over half of everything people earn. Fast forward ten years. Are you so sure that you desire yet more Corporation FICTIONMENT Control hovering how you live your life?
Begging for ‘legalizing’ of weed, or hemp, or Kanabosm, or cannibis, or – ahhhhhhh marijuana – is like: we’re being phukked 24/7, and ass KING for it harder.
What worked in the past, will not work in the future.
Anyone who doesn’t understand that cannabis is a necessary nutrient for human evolution, is in denial. Legal, decriminalize, whatever–while I understand the nuances, my point is simple: Weed is illegal because governments, as in almost all of them, target the people who are smoking it. That’s a paraphrase from Tommy Chong and it couldn’t be truer.
As far as Chem trails, go, Eric, I’d suggest you do some homeworker before blowing chem trails out your arse. The history of herb suppression, which goes on thousands of years before the Inquisition, is well documented. Chem trails, while a concern, is still a guessing game. I do think there is something sinister, but the comparison of the two is a weak, pot shot (oops pun) from a poor debater.
I repeat, cannabis is about human evolution
. Simple as that.
“Anyone who doesn’t understand that cannabis is a necessary nutrient for human evolution, is in denial.”
And your basis for making this claim is….?
Are you aware of the fact that there was no cannabis in North or South America until brought here from the Old World? Are you really claiming that the Native Americans were incapable of “evolving” until cannabis came onto the scene?
The TAXES are to pay for the CHEM-TRAILS which weaken your mind so that the ADMIRALTY COURTS with their GOLD-FRINGED FLAGS operating as FOREIGN VESSELS IN DRYDOCK can instill FEAR (False Evidence Appearing Real) through their FALSE-FLAG INSIDE JOBS so that the SHEEPLE with their (cattle) Driver’s Licenses won’t discover their value through REDEMPTION as a SOVEREIGN CITIZEN and will never learn how words that begin with a VOWEL FOLLOWED BY TWO CONSONANTS that are created at AREA 51 are used to poison our PRECIOUS BODILY FLUIDS with FLOURIDATED WATER. Simple as that.
There was a recent study done on DiCK wavers at ‘Pirates R Us’ and the ‘Parrot Sanctuary’. There was data research confirming that there is little correlation between DiCK waving and happiness. On the contrary, the article revealed that guys with higher incomes (more time to wave) spent more time in activities that are associated with negative feelings, such as tension and stress. These guys were more often in moods that they described as hostile, angry, anxious, and tense.
There is something paradoxical about this. Why do governments all focus on increasing per capita national income? Why do so many strive to obtain more money if it won’t make any of us happier?
Most are concerned about the money aspect, and rightly so, as we have equated our abilities and future to a certain amount of fiat. These characters in the finance world seem to not care about the item of money, as the rest of us, any more than a carpenter cares about the amount of 16 penny nails in his hands. This obsession, which some pursue, is like an all-consuming detriment. As the carpenter’s focus is on the building – the beautiful end result, we too have to move our focus to the desired result.
@ Grin Reaper, i do think that increased usage of pot, to the point where the majority of the population is getting high, could perhaps have an influence on human evolution. The sensation of time slowing down can give one a curiosity to explore an alternative area of mind consciousness. Pot definitely influenced the invention of jazz in New Orleans in the early 20th century, and has influenced rock since the 60s, and hiphop since the 80s. And a lot more. In our more distant past i can see how it may have influenced our human interests and direction. But human evolution is a long process. So i don’t know. Maybe you can offer some links to articles that show more evidence.
I have heard an interesting theory of how psilocybin mushrooms played a part in our evolution:
“The presence of psychedelic substances in the diet of early human beings created a number of changes in our evolutionary situation. When a person takes small amounts of psilocybin visual acuity improves. They can actually see slightly better, and this means that animals allowing psilocybin into their food chain would have increased hunting success, which means increased food supply, which means increased reproductive success, which is the name of the game in evolution. It is the organism that manages to propagate itself numerically that is successful. The presence of psilocybin in the diet of early pack- hunting primates caused the individuals that were ingesting the psilocybin to have increased visual acuity. At slightly higher doses of psilocybin there is sexual arousal, erection, and everything that goes under the term arousal of the central nervous system. Again, a factor which would increase reproductive success is reinforced.”
Terrence McKenna
Today pot can help us to have success in hunting after things of a different nature, and to find things we wouldn’t ordinarily come across. And i know it certainly helps suzy to lose things as well 😉 Anyway, i think it’s appropriate that you got yourself a green avatar. Blessings.
– JW, if you can’t figure out if i’m lying or not, then why should i bother to answer that? But, as suzy is of a generous nature, i will allow this: i did not make an improper comment, the content of my comment was not improper, nor was suzy’s response improper in any other way.
My high school comp teacher used to include the your/you’re mishaps in the list of “minimal decencies” or something like that. They find their way into all writing though – from blog posts to legal briefs. Even occasionally laws themselves.
8th Grade? Senior Year? What are those? Anyhow, teachers were too busy growing dope and selling-it to make a living; yet, somehow, as a child used as a political educative tool, HOJ is now guilty as an adult for that which as a child HOJ was usurped. Back to the education system flaws and its verified criminal minded teachers.
and if spell check did not exist, holy crap, the annoyances to thy eyes. Good thing no one really cares about blog “spelling and grammar uses”.
Now that Just Watchin groped on grammar, maybe Just Watchin will offer Eric free service to apply a “spellcheck” option to this blog, maybe not. It could be too much effort for Just Watchin seeing that just a little bit of grammar can make a JW hyena howl like an infant child.
HOJ…..that’s really insensitive to refer to an infant’s cry as “howling”, but I saw on another thread that you came out as “inbred”, so I guess we have to give you a pass. That actually does explain most of your posts. I do recall now that someone said that family trees in that area were called “Humboldt pines”. Now I understand. Upside is that you can go to family reunions lookin to get laid.
You have the high-speed Internet connect, I don’t.
This brings these posts back to what you agreed to Eric . . .
to go to sleep and let the grown-ups handle it.
Questions to me that would be worth the time typing, would be more akin to which whore judge? How may I help the people remove him? Why am I (Eric) still not able to find anything regarding traveling being a right? What was the reason the Occupiers lost in ‘court’ this week?’ Meat – hold the fluff.
Just Watchin mentions HOJ is a Jeffrey Pine and that JW is enamored while onlooking inbreds engaging in sex?
Wow, Just Watchin is playing the part of Dr. Ruth.
Just Watchin mentions also that Just Watchin believes in family tree values;therefore, JW must also believe that Just Watchin’s family tree is filled with a bunch of secrecy pussies suggesting that Just Watchin don’t really “look-up” to his or her own kin due to being so ashamed of their name.
What was your groupee name again Just Watchin, Pussies “R” Us,
Next social backstabbing treasonist takes 3 swings and strikes out again,
Grammar wise, or emotionally, however your brain slugs along, how is it insensitive to claim that a babies cry can be a howl? Should annoyance be the “socio-political” terminology; or, is it back to all good things children for gains and benefit in action or discussion?
You hit a hot topic – corrupt Humboldt County Courts and its judges who aid and abet the continuance of a power and control system set-up to keep the innocent subsidizing the institution by way of Public employee and public offical racketeerings and conspiracies to engage and commit to attacking “certain citizens locally” who are politcally despised and rejected and thus, punsihed by frauds and conspirators who use government code sections and civil code of procedures to “be cleansed away scott free in most instances”.
The Laws are written to protect the guily and allow chaos to continue to keep the money train rolling down the legal tracks for the you-know-who types.
Sorry Eric, but your employment is too defrauded and the judges you deal with constantly can’t be trusted to do the right thing by law. Then, these sheriff deputies and city officers who are not “true blue” and don’t live to their own code of conducts, go around causing extra work for the District Attorney’s office while continuing to make attempts to extort wealth from various citizens by indoctrinating these citizens from being free to being arrested.
The problem with those who wear badges and drive around in marked vehicles is they think their shit don’t stink.
Institutional government in North Carolina is apparantly attempting to create a bill in the legislature that would “NOT ALLOW” direct sales from a manufacturing business to its customer.
WHY would government squelch the free market?
Answer = to make it more expensive so that tax collections are higher based on higher costs and a government forced socialized marketplace
HOW?
Answer = By forcing the manufacturer to use a “middle man” for the transaction.
WHAT’S the business?
Answer = TESLA MOTORS (electric vehicles)
WHO is the “middle man”?
ALL North Carolina Car Lot Dealers
FYI, Every level of American Government LIES
What does that say about the local community members who work as public employees and are elected as public officials while being filtered financially by special interests in order to be popularized by media controls.
A Wolf, meeting with a lamb astray from the fold, resolved not to lay violent hands on him, but to find some plea to justify to the lamb the Wolf’s right to eat him.
He thus addressed him: “Sirrah, last year you grossly insulted me.”
“Indeed,” bleated the lamb in a mournful tone of voice, “I was not then born.”
Then said the Wolf, “You feed in my pasture.”
“No, good sir,” replied the lamb, “I have not yet tasted grass.”
Again said the Wolf, “You drink of my well.”
“No,” exclaimed the lamb, “I never drank water, for as yet my mother’s milk is both food and drink to me.”
Upon which the Wolf seized him and ate him up, saying, “Well! I won’t remain supperless, even though you refute every one of my assumptions.”
The tyrant will always find a pretext for his tyranny.
See Eric,
If you gave a rat’s rump about what’s being posted and shared at a local level between the community members – YOU WOULD DELETE absurd post @ 6:32. What say you? Just the meat – hold the bull’s shit.
I do walk a fine line, and occasionally cross it. But a reminder….when I had simply noted that spambot posts on the old Herald were actually funny reading, HOJ had this to say…… “Just Watchin,
You visit the Herald to enjoy “Spambots”?
Gee whiz, your desperate.
Too funny,”
HOJ
At that point…..game on. As tired as I get of his holier than thou comments, I don’t believe I had ever directed a comment towards him. But if he wanted a pissing match, he shouldn’t bring an empty bladder.Besides, after the research I did, finding out that he actually ran for public office, you’d think he’d be a little more careful about what he puts in print, especially if he ever wants to run for office again.
Eric…..you should google his name. In one run for Supe, he had zero contibutions, and actually took out a loan for $ 50. You read that right……fifty dollars !!

Blood stains are still visible on the sidewalk at the corner of Flower Street and Palm Drive, where a Bakersfield man struggled with as many as nine officers and later died this week.
David Sal Silva, 33 and the father of four young children, died early Wednesday morning after deputies say he fought with them and CHP officers who’d responded to a report of a possibly intoxicated man outside Kern Medical Center.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office says Silva resisted, a canine was deployed, more law enforcement arrived, batons were used and the man later had trouble breathing. He was taken to KMC, where he died. An autopsy was slated for Thursday, but no results have been released.
Some witnesses apparently took cellphone video of the incident but deputies moved quickly to seize the phones. The Sheriff’s Office, after releasing a statement Wednesday and naming its officers Thursday, declined all further comment.
People who say they witnessed the incident as well as Silva’s family members described a scene in which deputies essentially were beating a helpless man to death. They were indignant that cellphone video had been taken away by deputies.
“My brother spent the last eight minutes of his life pleading, begging for his life,” said Christopher Silva, 31, brother of the dead man. He said he’s talked to witnesses but did not see the incident himself.
At about midnight, Ruben Ceballos, 19,was awakened by screams and loud banging noises outside his home. He said he ran to the left side of his house to find out who was causing the ruckus.
“When I got outside I saw two officers beating a man with batons and they were hitting his head so every time they would swing, I could hear the blows to his head,” Ceballos said.
Silva was on the ground screaming for help, but officers continued to beat him, Ceballos said.
After several minutes, Ceballos said, Silva stopped screaming and was no longer responsive.
“His body was just lying on the street and before the ambulance arrived one of the officers performed CPR on him and another one used a flashlight on his eyes but I’m sure he was already dead,” Ceballos said.
Other relatives demanded to know more.
David Silva’s mother, Merri Silva, 54, said, “If I don’t do anything about my son’s death then it will just be pushed to the side and I don’t want this to happen to another person.”
Sheriff’s spokesman Ray Pruitt said a KMC security officer called deputies at about 11:55 p.m. Tuesday to report that there was a man in the area who was possibly intoxicated. A deputy with a canine found Silva at the southeast corner of the intersection and contacted him. It was then that Silva resisted and fought the deputy while the deputy tried to take him into custody, Pruitt said. More deputies and two California High Patrol officers arrived to help, Pruitt said.
Asked to respond to the family and witness allegations, Pruitt said no one from the Sheriff’s Office will comment or release information regarding the case until the investigation is over.
The office did identify the officers involved in the arrest as Sgt. Douglas Sword and deputies Ryan Greer, Tanner Miller, Jeffrey Kelly, Luis Almanza, Brian Brock and David Stephens.
The CHP hasn’t released the names of its officers at the scene.
On Thursday afternoon, Christopher Silva said the family had not yet been able to see his brother’s body, but had learned about different witnesses who had taken video footage of the incident.
“The true evidence is in those phones witnesses have that apparently the sheriff deputies already took,” Silva said. “But I know the truth will come out and my brother’s voice will be heard.”
John Tello, a criminal law attorney, is representing two witnesses who took video footage and five other witnesses to the incident. He said his clients are still shaken by what they saw.
“When I arrived to the home of one of the witnesses that had video footage, she was with her family sitting down on the couch, surrounded by three deputies,” Tello said.
Tello said the witness was not allowed to go anywhere with her phone and was being quarantined inside her home.
When Tello tried to talk to the witness in private and with the phone, one of the deputies stopped him and told him he couldn’t take the phone anywhere because it was evidence to the investigation, the attorney said.
“This was not a crime scene where the evidence was going to be destroyed,” Tello said. “These were concerned citizens who were basically doing a civic duty of preserving the evidence, not destroying it as they (sheriff deputies) tried to make it seem.”
A search warrant wasn’t presented to either of the witnesses until after Tello arrived, he said, adding that one phone was seized before the warrant was produced.
Tello said the phone of the first witness was taken after the deputies told him he was either going to give up the phone the easy way or the hard way.
“They basically told him they were either going to keep him at this house all night until they could find a judge to sign a search warrant or he could just turn over his phone,” he said.
The witness gave up his phone two hours before he had to get to work and was told by deputies that he could collect his phone the next day after they had extracted the evidence they needed, Tello said.
However, the witness never got his phone back, Tello said, and was told it could take years before he does because the investigation could take a long time.
“My main concern is that these witnesses are not harassed by deputies because this case can make others who see crimes happening not want to speak up because of the way law enforcement handles situations,” Tello said.
Local defense attorney Kyle J. Humphrey said, generally speaking, he believes law enforcement can seize cellphones or cameras at the scene under the theory that they’ve captured evidence of a crime. Because of the digital nature of the evidence, they could argue that it’s urgent they immediately take the cameras.
“It’s one of those murky areas that’s come about by the existence of modern technology,” said Humphrey, who is not involved in this case.
He said he thinks law enforcement officers would first ask for the person to voluntarily hand over the evidence, but they could just seize it and hold it until they get a court order to search it.
Silva left behind four children, ranging from ages 2 to 10 years old. As of Thursday afternoon, his mother said, they hadn’t figured out how to tell the children their father is dead. Merri Silva remembers her son as a happy person who loved his kids.
“We’re all hurt and it’s not something that I can comprehend and in part (it’s) because I feel that it still hasn’t hit me that he is gone,” the mother said.
Trinidad, CA: 9:00 am Earth First! Humboldt dropped a large banner
100 ft. up in trees that can be seen from Highway 101
just North of Trinidad, Ca.
The banner reads in large print “Respect Strawberry Rock”, and below in smaller print, “Forest Stewardship Council and Sustainable Forestry Initiative Green-Wash Green Diamond’s Clear-Cuts.”
Green Diamond is the first U. S. based company that has received FSC certification while still practicing clear cut forestry methods, something that FSC is selling to the public as sustainable. For the SFI, industry created label, clear-cutting is status quo. Green Diamond holds both FSC and SFI certifications.
Despite much vocal opposition from the community, including the mayor of Trinidad, as well as a few dedicated tree-sitters maintaining tree-sits, Green Diamond Resource Company is continuing its clear-cutting, aka “even aged management” around Strawberry Rock. These plans include logging stands of residual old-growth and old second growth redwoods. Included in the forest is a rare and little understood species, Bishop Pine.
Green Diamond has a 45 year clear-cut rotation plan, including all of the land around Strawberry Rock.
Earth! First Humboldt is calling for Green Diamond Resource Company
to create a special management zone of the Strawberry Rock area
in which restoration forestry practices are followed
and include but are not limited to: not taking more than a third
of the annual growth of the forest, protecting rare and endangered species such as the Bishop Pine, Spotted Owl, and Marbled Murelet,
and restoring mature forest habitat.
The group plans on continuing to support as well as engage in the resistance to Green Diamond’s destructive forestry practices,
and will be hosting a skill building camp
beginning June 14th called Redwood Coast Rendezvous.
Comment:
Friends Of Trinidad forests and all others already involved in attempts
to protect these vital areas of our bio-region ……thank Earth First!
for joining us at this crucial stage of our protest
against Green Diamond.
It magnifies the need for all of us who are concerned
to see the necessity of direct action and being involved.
~worthy of repeating again and again and again, ala suzy:
“ . . . how the culture of materialism has caused the masses to make huge mental and emotional attachments about, “ownership”, “property rights”, etc. Until there is a tipping point in which spiritual concerns take over from material ones, it’s the same ol’ same ol’ –divide (the possessions) and conquer the (mind).”
Thank you suzy – that should be a mantra, of type, heard above the roar of the noise that needs turned down.
Don’t know if I mentioned before, my bee-right yellow BYLAWS FREE ZONE in my yard. I don’t need a brick to hit me in the head (eyes rolled) – ‘tipping point’ surprise, surprise, is in my own backyard. This is ground zero for the test. ☺ Me, myself, and I, intend to video record this year’s Annual Members Meeting. Think I’ll call it “Board Gone Rogue” maybe put it on YouTube! It’s the mini of the maxi. As above so below theme. Except, I’m staring down 9 ridiculous, authority-fixated, yahoos. Firm testing ground. Only, this is not a test.
So when earthfirst says this: protecting rare and endangered species such as the Bishop Pine, Spotted Owl, and Marbled Murelet,
and restoring mature forest habitat.
It shows there fundimental lack of understanding of the issues. First of all Bishop Pine is not a natural stand type for the area. Secondly, a bishop pine stand will never make for NSO or Murrlet habitat.
If EarthFirst is going to have a skill building camp, they should include some ecology and forest science.
yeah, lets get the forest ‘scientism’ going – it has served us so well in the very recent past.
Face it – what you so glibly refer to as science, is nothing more than a political hand-job religion – with mountains and mountains of paper jobs attached. The doctrine of continuing wrong theory is factually inaccurate.

hey eric, do you support economic jobs for sustainable community???? Do ya? huh? huh? teh job economy of community for sustaining recycle is for you to support much!!!! an environment of community is recycle green economic sustainability for good! Do you????? huh? Huh? Eric, jobs for economy and recycle green community sustaining, right, eric? Do you??? I’m just trying to bring things down to your level of communication here. So do you???
I think we lost him @ 10:13 . . . I don’t hear/feel a heartbeat.
So now I don’t know, we need something stronger than crackers & cages.
And to no surprise, the PTSD ‘shot’ was meaningless – unless you’re BIG MEANINGLESS PHARMA.
…and he considers himself informed? Eric is supposedly paying attention and did not know until just now that “hoj” ran for office and that he recieved a genuine percentage of votes. Good thing eric doesn’t live in the bay area anymore, the roster of political activity would be far too big for his attention span!
Thanks for your post at 1:10 yesterday about the police killing of David Silva in Bakersfield, it was the first I had heard about this story. Very disturbing accounts from the witnesses, and chillingly reminiscent of the brutal police beating of Martin Cotton in Eureka that led to his death in jail shortly thereafter.
It sounds like the witnesses’ cell phones, with which they had taken video of the incident, and which had been confiscated by police that night, have now been returned to them, and an investigator working for an attorney representing Silva’s family is examining them to determine whether any of the footage appears to have been altered or deleted, after which the family and the witnesses promise to release the footage to the press.
And let’s say that I agree that I have some sort of duty to keep track of every candidate who runs for office. Do I have to keep track of his/her blog handles too?
“ . . . how the culture of materialism has caused the masses to make huge mental and emotional attachments about, “ownership”, “property rights”, etc. Until there is a tipping point in which spiritual concerns take over from material ones, it’s the same ol’ same ol’ –divide (the possessions) and conquer the (mind).”

-You are totally welcome! A few folks like you understand me. But too many are unwilling to look at the ideas in depth. You can’t show someone what they won’t look at. So at this late stage i am not very interested in confronting them and their “science” because it’s a dead-end of endless debates and word shuffling. Confrontation is too slow, my strategy is not to confront anymore but to take siege. With acts like stealing i get the issue out of the slow-lane of debate and into the fast-lane of deprivation. When you deprive them of their precious possessions (like suzy did by stealing the spoiled privileged brats expensive shoes) then you lift the conversation to a higher level. And by “higher” i don’t mean “esoteric” –i mean REAL. Only by mocking her “ownership” and shaming her for her assumptions about her “rights” did I make a dent in the conditioned consciousness, and thus she was allowed to raise her head out of the stew of materialism. Maybe only for a moment (when she had to walk back to the new BMW that her parents bought her barefooted in the cold night) -awww. But that moment was more valuable than a thousand debates and confrontations about privilege, materialism, greed, etc. That one act jolted her out of the trance for a moment.
I desired the shoes and proceeded to eliminate the separation between me and the thing i desired. The division is in one’s mind, not in reality. The reality is –we’re all one. The shoe and you. NO separation. So i am exploring the act of theft as a virtue. The way i intend this is through changing values. That’s what is important, not making better mousetraps. But you can’t get too far with that by trying to awaken people through debate. We don’t have time. The only way we can bring in the new consciousness is by action, not argument. My message is, the perceived separation between you and that thing you desire needs changing. And the sacrifice that the “victim” makes brings their out of balanced emotional attachments to possessions automatically to the surface of consciousness, It all boils down to ownership. Suzy is deconstructing that concept and revealing its false foundations, not through argument, but through action. More thefts will be forthcoming.
What some people don’t seem to understand yet is that my desire is not for the objects (the shoes or whatever), i am interested in usurping the very mental capital, the cultural capital, (as well as the commercial capital) possessed by the victim. The truth will set you free — 😉
Eric, don’t you think democratic freedom for sustainable influences to enconomic jobs for environmental goodness rely on the freedom of hero people to sustain green jobs related to economic freedom to vote and recycle? Do you? huh?
Apparently the police have state that Silva was “possibly intoxicated” and that he fought with an officer who contacted him about that, and that his fighting with that officer is what led to so many other officers to respond as backup, which is why so many officers were involved in the incident. In the news report that can be found at this link…
… a recording of a 911 call includes the caller stating that Silva was already lying on the ground when around 8 officers “ran up and started beating him up with sticks. The man is dead, laying right here, right now.”
Another man who says he was an eyewitness was interviewed for the same news story and said: “They jumped out, reached for their bats, poles, whatever you want to call it, and beat that man until they killed him — right in front of my face.”
Again, chillingly similar to witness statements in the Martin Cotton case in Eureka.
Now I have no particular reason to disbelieve the police account on their claim that Silva fought with the officer who initially confronted him, and that this was the reason for the arrival of the numerous additional officers.
But, just as in the Martin Cotton case, the question becomes how it is possible that the only way for 6 or 8 officers (or however many officers it was) to subdue this man, was to literally beat him to to death. To say that this strains credulity to the breaking point would be to put it mildly.
“How many hours per day do you spend looking at a computer screen, TOA?”
As I find it very neighborly of you to take an interest in my life, I will be happy to oblige you with a full account of my time spent with a computer.
Most days, maybe an hour or an hour and a half at most, mostly in chunks of 20 minutes or so. Quite a few days, none at all, and it’s not unusual for that to last for 3 or 4 days in a row. And some days when I either have some time on my hands and something grabs my interest, or I have some work that needs to be done that require the use of a computer, I will spend a couple of hours in front of the computer. Probably the most in a single day anytime in the last 10 years was 3 or 4 hours.
Many years ago, I had to as much as 6-8 hours a day in front of a computer, 5 days a week, for more than 2 years (of course computers were WAY slower back then). It was necessary at the time, given how I was making a living back then, but it’s something I would never do again, unless the only other choice was starvation. So, presumably that will satisfy your curiosity.
And how about you, how much time to you spend looking at a computer screen?
Oh, rats, now you’ve taken up 5 minutes of my computer time — darn, now how will I find the time to watch that Youtube video of that adorable kitten getting her head stuck in a jar?
-Anonymous, it’s futile to confront them with questions about how many hours etc, It’s about as useful as a social worker asking a sociopath how many hours he looks at violent porn. Do you think you’re likely to get a truthful answer? Better to steal Tra’s laptop. Let him audit that onto his timeline.
Except that a sociopath might have a strong incentive to want to mislead you about how many hours he looks at violent porn, whereas I don’t see what incentive I would have to mislead anyone about how many hours I spend in front of my computer, since that is something that does no real harm to anyone. Would you bother to mislead anyone about how much time you spend on your computer, SBB? And if so why?
Face it – what you so glibly refer to as science, is nothing more than a political hand-job religion – with mountains and mountains of paper jobs attached. The doctrine of continuing wrong theory is factually inaccurate.
No Forest Queen, I wont face “that”. That is absolute crap. How do you think we even know about spotted owls? How, for instance, can we find them, determine their nesting locations and understand their core habitat areas? If we didnt have 30+ years of scientific study there would be no protection for NSOs. Let alone an understanding of how various forest types interact with nesting habitat for owls and the prey base, which live in different forest types.
What I refer to as science are the tools forest activists should use to galvanize their work and make much more significant impacts to our long-term industry. I offer that criticism to Earth First! because I believe they could do better. Its a shame you are so addicted to your impulse of ad hominem against alternate view points to your own.
I don’t see what incentive I would have to mislead anyone about how many hours I spend in front of my computer
-Tra, just because you say you don’t see something doesn’t mean that another doesn’t see it. The reason you may have to hide your computer addiction is the same reason Anonymous wants to ask about it –it might be one more piece of evidence suggesting that your mind is being conditioned by a computer screen and closed to reality, like maybe the reality above you in the sky.
“your mind is being conditioned by a computer screen, and closed to reality, like maybe the reality above you in the sky. ”
THAT’S your theory? Really? And here I thought it was just something more mundane like a setup for a stupid “get a life” comment, when in fact it was actually something truly ludicrous!
So, Suzy, how much time do YOU spend in front of your computer? You seem to post here a whole lot. Have you considered the possibility that perhaps your mind is being conditioned by a computer screen and closed to reality, like maybe the reality that clouds are made of condensed water vapor, and that contrails are also made up of condensed water vapor, and that therefore it’s not the least bit surprising that given the right atmospheric conditions contrails can and do persist in the form of clouds and that when this happens at the same time as those same atmospheric conditions are creating clouds or overcast conditions, then weak-minded, critical-thinking-impaired conspiracy enthusiasts are prone to moronically concluding that the contrails in a limited area are causing the sky across a vast area to become overcast or cloudy.
Or maybe the computer screen has nothing to do with your gullibility, and it’s just a result of ignorance combined with wishful thinking. Personally I think the latter is more likely, but if you want to believe in your ludicrous computer screen programming theory, just realize there’s no reason to believe your beliefs aren’t being shaped that way as well. Oh, except I forgot about the tinfoil headgear that protects you from those computer screen programming rays. Nevermind, now I get it.
TOA @ 12:51,
I posted the beating to death of one of the people by the Bakersfield Polic(y), which were supported by more hired THUGS – CHP’s – merely as a heads-up ”Notice” that we are living in a POLICE STATE. NOTHING to do with details. Thank you for adding your post and bringing the story home so this subject, POLICE STATE, remains fresh on our minds. No, not fear – just “heads-up.”
P.S. nobody ask me how much time I spend in front of a dial-up only-available-connection computer screen. 😦
FQ, It’s a very disturbing story, and an important one, and I would like to thank you again for bringing it to my attention. We may disagree on some things, but not on the importance of people being made aware of incidents like that.
-no Tra, its not my theory. What i said was that Anonymous might have that theory. His inquiry says in the context of what he said above that that was what he was indicating. I never made that claim. You just conveniently took a fragment of my comment and tried to make what i actually said, “The reason you may have to hide your computer addiction is the same reason Anonymous wants to ask about it” mean that i was theorizing about your computer habits. No, i wasn’t theorizing about you, i was theorizing why Anonymous might be asking you that question. I simply showed the correlation between the question and his probable suspicion. And then i made my point, which was to show the futility of his expecting a truthful answer by saying that, IF one were a computer addict then one very likely wouldn’t give a truthful answer anyway. And because he was asking, he didn’t know the answer. So as he didn’t know if you were a computer addict or not, he couldn’t logically tell if you would answer by telling the truth or trying to cover something up. Try reading the whole comment next time and not cherry picking a fragment out of the total context of what i say.
-if that’s not clear enough: then i said that (the reason Anonymous might want to know your hours is because), “it might be one more piece of evidence suggesting that your mind is being conditioned by a computer screen and closed to reality, like maybe the reality above you in the sky., I didn’t say it was my theory, i said he would be interested in the answer if he thought it would add evidence to his theory.
Simply by accident of birth you were born with a lifelong obligation that you never signed up for . . . to finance the corrupt mis-dealings of the poly tick class.
You, me, us, we can choose to abandon this ‘assumed’ obligation, regardless of what the Corporate Gov’t entity propaganda says. This is not how a free society treats people. This is the modern day equivalent of feudal serfdom.
If you think there’s any change on the horizon without you because you’re just watchin (no pun intended), permit me to re re-mind us that we are participants. Not enough of us are willing to give it ALL up. More of us have to get ballsey.
Take it or leave it, like it or not – that’s the alpha and omega of it.
In other words Suzy, you came up with some lame-brained speculation, and now you don’t even want to own it, but instead through some convoluted interpolation you want to attribute it to some Anonymous, who may or may not even be the same as the other Anonymous who said some other stupid stuff earlier. Quite the intellectual tour de force.
-anyone following his game for a while should recognize Tra’s “in other words” play. It’s the move where he gives himself yet another twisted opportunity to go into one of his childish interpretations –telling you in “other words” what he claims you really meant.
Aww, poor Suzy, the clear and plain meaning of her convoluted wrigglings is getting all twisted out of their carefully rejiggered shapes by the use of that notorious “in other words” trick!
Well, ya caught me in the unforgiveable act of accurately summarizing your actions, so in the interest of fairness here is what you actually said, in your own original words, not in my “other words,” and not in the convoluted, semi-backpedaled version that you tried and failed in two posts in a row to convincingly substitute for your own original words:
“The reason you may have to hide your computer addiction is the same reason Anonymous wants to ask about it – it might be one more piece of evidence suggesting that your mind is being conditioned by a computer screen and closed to reality, like maybe the reality above you in the sky.”
Yup, you said “The reason is…” not “I think maybe what Anonymous was getting at was…” So yes, the ludicrous theory was yours, and then you proposed that Anonymous 2:23 might have shared that goofy proposition (and who knows, maybe they did!).
There’s no denying that this was the clear meaning of your actual words. But faced with being rightfully ridiculed for your computer-screen-programming theory, you then tried, hilariously, to claim that you were only proposing what you guessed that maybe Anonymous 2:23 might have thought about what might be influencing my opinions of the earlier anonymously posted chem-trail hysteria.
When, after your first attempt at simultaneously backpedaling while pretending to hold your ground wasn’t even good enough to convince yourself, and then you began your second attempt with “In case that wasn’t clear enough” I couldn’t help myself, I literally laughed out loud. Suzy, dear, while clarity was certainly an issue, the real problem was that you were fast-talking out of your ass while simultaneously backpedaling and pontificating. And while in a certain way, that’s kind of an impressive feat, it’s also kind of pathetic.
The bottom line is that you made a fool of yourself in your haste to try to make something profound out of Anonymous 2:23’s inane question, and even more of a fool of yourself tripping all over yourself as you then tried to run away from your own words. And while I generally just smile and shrug when you do these sorts of things, every so often I just can’t resist poking some fun at you for it.
It’s just a shame that while you seem to have a pretty good sense of humor, the one person you seem to take way too seriously is yourself. If only you were able to take a look in the mirror at moments like that, you’d be able to have a really good healthy laugh at yourself. I know I did — at both of us in fact.
When it comes right down to it, there’s nothing funnier than recognizing our own folly. In fact I’m having a bit of a chuckle right now, realizing that I’ve now spent way more time than usual online today, in part responding to an exchange about how much time I spend online! Furthermore, I’m posting a response to your silliness at 1:40 in the morning, as part of an exchange where you proposed the idea that I’m a “computer addict!”
So in a way, I’m doing a much better job of advancing that theory than you possibly could have, for which I will say “you’re welcome,” while you’re doing a much better job of making a fool of yourself than I could ever do at pointing out your foibles, for which I say, “thank you.”
-same ol’ same ol’ “In other words” aka “in better words” game. But with Tra all it ever amounts to is a lot more words. This time slinging blatantly absurd claims like, “There’s no denying that this was the clear meaning of your actual words” and cute meaningless snarks like, (your) “attempt at simultaneously backpedaling while pretending to hold your ground” LOL! And the rest of your cheap crap, sheesh. An old sputtering muffler belching his toxic waste all over the road.
For someone who so clearly views yourself as a profound thinker, how ironic that you’re so noticeably lacking in self awareness and unable to perceive or laugh at your own folly. How sad. You really are missing out on a lot! Oh well, I just hope for your sake that someday you may expand your sense of humor to recognize when you’ve inadvertently made yourself the butt of your own joke, as you have here. In the meantime, carry on with your oh-so-serious-self, it’s all the more amusing to everyone but you.
-Tra, since you seemed to have found some mysterious humor in all this computer addiction talk, maybe it has loosened your hair, so fool that i am, suzy will make this last attempt at seeing eye to eye with you on this. I am about proposing this question (it’s just my rhetorical question that i formulated, i don’t really desire to receive an answer farted out at me), and i formulated it not in “other words”, but in the exact words i carefully chose: how much time do YOU spend in front of your computer? You seem to post here a whole lot. Have you considered the possibility that perhaps your mind is being conditioned by a computer screen and closed to reality?
Well first of all, as you know, I already answered the first part of your question, about computer usage, though last night’s exchange has now upped the average a bit. 😉
As far as the second question, since it seems so important to you, and despite the fact that you don’t really desire an answer, I’m going to go ahead and answer your question anyway, as is always the prerogative of someone who is asked such a pointed rhetorical question. But of course you could stop reading right here if you are bound and determined to avoid receiving an answer that you labored to hard to ask.
And rather than mere rhetoric, I will offer a very straightforward answer: Yes, I have considered your question of whether perhaps my mind is being conditioned by a computer screen and closed to reality. Okay, there’s your answer.
Okay, now having considered your question, my opinion is that it’s a rather inane question which I believe has no real-world significance whatsoever.
But if you think otherwise, then as a fellow computer user, and seemingly a pretty frequent user, perhaps you should ask yourself the same question:
Have you, Suzy blah blah, considered the possibility that perhaps your mind is being conditioned by a computer screen and closed to reality?
Frankly I doubt I’ll really be interested in your answer, since as I mentioned previously, I think the whole thing is ridiculous. But fair is fair, and if you want to answer, well, O.K. that’s fine. We can see where that leads…or we can just leave the discussion right there. Again, either way is fine with me.
-judging by your answer i guess you didn’t understand the question. Maybe you need an expansion on it. I can do that real easy: how much time do YOU spend in front of your computer?
Is that any better? Don’t bother to give an answer. I really doubt if its worth hearing it because you see, like i started out saying, with people who you can’t reason with, like someone as stubborn as Tra, you are better off stealing their laptop than wasting time offering them your words. As much as they may like to type. they just don’t comprehend the words too well. Granted, stealing someone’s computer may only keep them off line temporarily, but if it happened to many of these creatures, not just one … and then you add all those days, days and a half, up, it would be an enormous sum of bs blog hours saved. If the theft of one laptop makes a small difference then think of what 2 or 3 thousand would do. Or more. In the words of Kai the hitchhiker, “i went into Safeway man and filled up a shopping cart with all this good fucking shit man, veggies, fruit, ice cream, beer, food, wine, cookies, cakes, and i just walked out the front fucking door with it man” And because of that one good deed, a whole lot of hungry street people were happy. Multiply that to where you have a Kai on every corner and we’ve got the show on the road. If a butterfly moves its wings here it affects the weather in africa -google it. I think it would do the world a world of good, its pretty hard for someone to try waving their dick around on a blogsite and order someone to “own what they say” when they don’t even own a computer to say it with. LOL! Seriously, the ownership of property, especially food, is myth that’s time has seen its day. Peace to all.
Why stop with stealing food or laptops, when you can go the whole nine yards and just steal a life?
The viral Internet star known as “Kai the Hitchhiker” was arrested and charged with murder on Thursday afternoon following allegations that he beat a man to death in New Jersey, according the Associated Press

Response: Don’t be upset when another person no matter whom it is understands “more right” than you’ll ever want to know. As for public office, people need more outspoken “real people”, not shills, and plants, and deceivers, and manipulators, etc…You’re fairly stupid to not consider that HOJ has already considered what you are too stupid to have come to a conclusive understanding of.
Now, HOJ may be inbred as you claimed (who really knows) prior to your weasley lie here, I don’t believe I had ever directed a comment towards him, but actually, from HOJ’s further digestion of your bladder blabber, it appears you are the hipocrite in that you claimed that thieves are the lowest form of scum on the earth, but apparantly you have been enamored with watching HOJ’s inbred family tree activities and said so to that point, but you have not paid for your viewership as the other paying patrons in the audience have. That makes you a thieving peeping Tom pervert who likes other people’s inbred family trees and wants to watch without paying.
Notice how secret people act, not very odd, but very predictable in trying to act like they never have said what they have just re-stated, even though what was previously said in duplicate form was attempted under a different “moniker” during a past article or forum.
Simply by accident of birth you were born with a lifelong obligation that you never signed up for . . . to finance the corrupt mis-dealings of the poly tick class.
Speak for yourself. My only obligation is to make this place better. Wanna help?
Here is “the next comment” after the citation of HOJ’s comment by Just Watchin, May 14, 2013 at 5:59 pm
Just Watchin
HOJ……it’s a contraction of you are…..spelled you’re. What a moron. Just out of curiosity, did you refer to the eighth grade as your senior year??
Then further on down the post, Bolithio misspells a word, but who cares, right?

So when earthfirst says this: protecting rare and endangered species such as the Bishop Pine, Spotted Owl, and Marbled Murelet,
and restoring mature forest habitat.
It shows there fundimental lack of understanding of the issues. First of all Bishop Pine is not a natural stand type for the area. Secondly, a bishop pine stand will never make for NSO or Murrlet habitat.
If EarthFirst is going to have a skill building camp, they should include some ecology and forest science.
The point being that Just Watching is infatuated with HOJ, but “its” secrecy” is delaying the truth
Ground control to Major Tom . . .at what point in my posts did you decide to make a ‘legal’ determination for me regarding whom I speak for? I can speak for no other, and don’t care to.
My cat sleeps 20 hours a day. He has his food prepared for him. His meals are provided at no cost to him. He may visit the vet once a year for his checkup, and again during the year if need be. For this he pays nothing, and nothing is required of him. He lives in a nice neighborhood in a house that is much larger than he needs, but he is not required to do any upkeep. If he makes a mess, someone else cleans it up. He has his choice of luxurious places to sleep. He receives these accommodations absolutely free. He is living like a king, and has absolutely no expense whatsoever. All of his costs are picked up by others who earn a living. I was just thinking of this, and suddenly it hit me like a brick . . . . my cat is a STATE Employee, labeled County Supervisor!
Wow Jeffrey (HOJ) Lytle…..sounds like I really struck a nerve. And I’m glad to see that you’ve come to grips with and accepted your inbred family history. That’s a very adult step to take, and we’re all very proud of you! Now….pull your panties out of your buttcrack, put on your bigboy britches, and go find a sidewalk to sweep. And I hate be the one to have to tell you, but when you run for office and only garner 3.4% of the vote, you’re pretty much the town laughingstock. And by the way, it appears you’re still having trouble with your spelling……there’s no G on the end of “Watchin”.
PRIORITY POSTS From PRIORITIES Thread – and there are many here locally as powerful voices in the wilderness. I MEAN, where else would any proud Humboldtian go to for ‘thriving’ other than here? Witnessing our own local kindred spirits who share common ground as kindred spirits, and, who, yes bolithio, do want to help. What would be any one’s motive to lie at this late date? We’re all in the same leaky lifeboat.
forest queen’s learning (thank you JW) that HOJ (by any name or age), has in the recent past approached the Gates Of Hell and is here in the now to share his valid present position, in these troubled-as-never-before times, is much appreciated. Speaking for My self .
JW – have you tried to de-calcify your pineal gland? It’s just a yes or no question – no need to elaborate.
Anyhow, typical nervous Pervous who apparantly thinks “IT” can outdebate HOJ.
Also, HOJ has no problem indulging in your best attempts to be a funny “IT” too, including playing along as an inbred McKinleyvillite.
Good Luck on that dipshit and clean your fecal mattered hands from that dirty arse keyboard you salivate over because your that good.
Hide and seek by the scared types who don’t want their real names identified to the rest of the community, but have no problem pulling-up public information, wow, real winner JW is.
Press reset for JW who gripes on others over spelling, etc… but then follows-suit as a hipocrit making errors in writing.
Apparantly, JW should be a teacher with a smile stamp for grading how one writes.
Question: Does JW write as if “IT” has Phenylketonuria?
Phenylketonuria = a hereditary disease caused by the inability to metabolize phenylalanine resulting in mental deficiency and poor physical development if not treated in infancy.
Think of Manti Teo (football player from Notre Dame) and consider how a person can believe he has a girlfriend he never has met.
This is the “now generation”, this is how “younger people” function – the computer screen. Who led the charge? Industry, government, free market, etc…?
Does it matter when Manti Teo shows how out of touch and clueless he was.
AB 173 passed the floor. This Bill ($) exempts Univ. of CA Officials and Contractors from four statutes in CA Public Contract Code – Sections 10522, 10523, 10524, and 10525. ‘Bribery’ just became ‘Legalized.’
White is now black.
Other Not-A-Conspiracy happenings:
Last week as I was about to access the same old gray page of CA INC CODE’S page, it did a re-direct to a site of little Code info. – I didn’t stay long. Three days later I could access the same old familiar gray page, which when checked, and ‘Search’ is hit, the next screen is the miles-long list of Section numbers to choose from in that Code title. There is now, however, a WARNING notice at the top of the old gray page that says something like: “No, No, No, Go back to START (you dumb wench), do NOT collect $200, Go straight to Jail!” Well, that’s my translation.
Looks to me like when the Crooks depart the scum pond in Sac., they’re takin’ the (evidence) Codes with them. “Good-bye, Farewell, Ado – don’t let the door hit you in the ass on your way out.” Can’t you just feel California getting lighter as these Criminal Parasites head on out to sea? Then we’ll have to have a re-do (if desired) of the guy on the California flag, and place both of his feet firmly on the land.
I am concerned about all of the Persons who live by the ‘legal’ so-called law – as written ‘down’ in Code. I MEAN, what are they to do?
The Criminals will not go without a long, hard, fight. Gear up!!
My heart also goes out to the family of the girl-child who was taken all to soon. That’s the hardest – when one of your babies is no longer around in the flesh.
Poor HOJ jeffey…..over on the “crisp spring” thread he practically bursts into tears over his crappy life. Sounds like he ran his business into the ground and his girlfriend told him to take a hike. Boo Hoo. If you’re looking to replace the attention you didn’t get when your were young, keep searching. I limit the time I spend on losers, and you’re way past your quota. ( I’m guessing that’s not the first time you’ve been called a loser).
Just W – I have my same question for you, since you bring nothing to the table but blathering about one or more of the ‘local community’ bloggers – Why are you here? You want attention and you ‘will’ suck energy to accomplish your pointless purpose- I get that – good for you, cause here I am doing the same thing- wasting precious time on some body that doesn’t give a shit about humboldt. Perhaps you can recite the Dow Jones average for us. Or, maybe quote what Obomb Bomb is up to. Oh hell, what’s the temp. in Florida?
How is your HOJ bashing of any purpose to those of us who live in humboldt?
FQ……I’d be happy to answer your questions: The Dow closed at 15354 on Friday…..up a little over 17% YTD. As far as what Obama is up to……right now, he’s up to his neck in scandals. And it’s slightly overcast and 86 in Orlando. As for the HOJ bashing….not to worry. It really isn’t fun anymore.
And Queenie….except for the “Obomb bomb” reference, your post was quite coherent. Congratulations, But I do realize that it is still early in the day.
HOJ laughs at the bashing because it means nothing significant can be discussed by the basher, which suggests bashers really don’t care anyhow which is an understandable trait of a social backstabbing treasonist. “IT” can’t have fun when “IT” is not in control and can’t import more bandwagoneers to sing the same “IT factor” i-tunes.
“Confrontation is way too slow, my strategy is not to confront anymore but to take siege.” Steal – steal what’s left of their low-dim light perhaps. Shame isn’t a part of the equation –THEY are pure, as they have determined that themselves.
Onward; suzy’s second paragraph in same post, implies that to eliminate the separation between (I’ll use Me here) and the thing I desire, I ‘will’ have to realize (make real) that the division is in my mind, NOT in reality. I know that part ––of course knowledge and wisdom (the doing) are entirely two different faces on the same coin. For Me, Myself, and I, things generally funnel down to ‘love they neighbor’ – and that has always been the hard one of society’s rules for me. Let me get this straight – I gotta love 9 BOD members BEFORE I can humbly incision, extractificate, and de-brainify these pathetic poor-excuse of humankind surviving beings – is that correct suzy?
“Trying to awaken people by debate – we don’t have time.” Agreed. Man, this is a leap that I’ve got to get my lazy, now blog-addicted persona in gear for.
Just to be clear – “The reality is –we’re all one.” However, we gotta achieve, attain, desire, will, blend, incarnate, gather, in to oneness BEFORE becoming one. Are we up for it? Can we do it? This is the question now on the table before us.
Yes, this is a Priority – it’s local,
In referencing suzy’s same post as above, she also states that she’s “exploring the act of theft as a virtue.” I can see that. I’d change theft into ‘take.’ As we ‘take’ our first breath, we also ‘take’ our first sip, and ‘take’ our first step. We’re ‘takers!!!’ It’s the balance that we so desire, cause we KNOW it’s there. Otherwise we couldn’t b Parasites-Wearing-Tennis-Shoes (Bill Hicks), that we have Consented, Complied, and Cooperated our dumb-asses into, and still be able to communicate as we do!!! -Speaking for Me/My self.
And what is more . . “the perceived separation between you and that thing you desire needs changing.” Well, . . then, . . .okay . . . how about this is all I can think of? “Sue the Bastards.” “Sue the Bastards.” “Sue the Bastards.” “Sue the Bastards.” “Sue the Bastards.” “Sue the Bastards.” I suppose that’s not much of a change tho huh?
It is a de-construct the owner ‘Ship’ thing. Thinkificate – we pass between us, actually handle, dead things (Corporation I.O.U’s, labeled money). This so-called money even has pictures of dead people on it. This was going to be a Pirate story, but I digress . .
Yeah, the victim/debtor/slave mentality is a real wall-blocker. Somewhere in between here and (t)here, consideration has to be given to this: we don’t own anything – not even our bodies – we’re just passing through. Oneness realized.
V E R Y I N T R I G U I N G to forest queen what suzy shares.
Northern California already entering drought this year. Listened to lengthy arguments made on radio about water use related to marijuana farming. Haven’t heard any such arguments aired about water use and vinyards, new housing developments, new commercial developments, new construction in general, the permanent long term water use based on those developments, the permanent loss of precipitation from increased devegetation on account of new infrastructure including freeways and roadways, etc.

-No time to think about love, this is an emergency. NURSE! scalpel please. It’s time for Dr. Suzy to de-brainify the patient! Now give me my shovel. Shwwoooop. There, that was easy. Put some gauze in the empty cavity nurse, and lay the patient flat on his back. Now it’s time to operate on the heart. What’s all this red stuff in here. What a mess. Nurse, get me the vacuum cleaner. wshooooooop! Oh oh, i think we may have lost the patient. Okay, some you win and some you lose. No need to stitch the corpse up. Just put him in a garbage bag. Time for lunch.
However, we gotta achieve, attain, desire, will, blend, incarnate, gather, in to oneness BEFORE becoming one. Are we up for it?
-we don’t have to do any of that. It merely takes realizing that we’re all one. But the catch is, people are busy trying to realize oneness intellectually, as a concept. That’s okay for reading material but it’s of little use in reality. You have to realize oneness physically, not conceptually. We don’t have to become one –we already are. When everyone knows it, in their bones and in their blood, in every cell in their body, not just in their brains, then the gathering and blending together will happen naturally. Wake up time. Act like you’re awake.
she also states that she’s “exploring the act of theft as a virtue.” I can see that. I’d change theft into ‘take.’
-why use euphemisms There’s nothing to be ashamed of, there is no use in smoothing it over, trying to make it seem what it isn’t. That’s the kind of trickery i am debunking. i am proud of being a thief. I see it as the right response to this world i find myself in. I don’t steal simply as a way to make money. That would be falling into the same pattern as the people behind the counter that steal from us every day. I steal cultural expression. And as cultural expression. Like expensive Nikes from privileged snobs, for instance. I took over controlling the expression of the objects. I took over the stage, redesigning and wearing the costumery myself. And i called the value system of the victim into question.
Pink Nikes are one thing, but i am going to steal something of a higher cultural value next. Something of more precious value to the “owner” of the object. The Nikes i stole were the right action to take then, and i am pleased with the act, but next i intend to up the ante and make the object stolen be a larger deprivation for the victim. I like the idea of stealing corporate cotton candy like the tennies but suzy wants to get into the area of stealing from the very superstructure of the industrial carnival. I haven’t decided exactly what yet but i have my eyes on things like large oil trucks. Or maybe an airplane. Possibly land. I’d love to steal someone’s land out from under them. See how they deal with that, LOL! I am scheming on a way to steal a certain person’s acreage right now. We’ll see how that works out. In other words my methods need to become more sophisticated. That’s what i’m working on. My next thievery action will be on a higher level of cultural exchange.
OMG! suzy! I can’t stop laughing! The hospital scene – too, too . ..
I’m thinking of using the old-school Filibuster move – just keep talking – at this up-coming event (the hospital action scene). I MEAN, I’ve watched thus bleed-out for seven years . . . Aimed at me! Can you believe it? Go figure. Seven years, I could write a novel about it easy.
No, no, I didn’t intend to detract from your thievery theory, I think it sounds solid, especially the cultural thieftress exchange. We each must choose our own paths. I’m a Taker. I’ma taking/claiming rights that are precious to each and every one of us. Property Rights for one– yep, I know ‘em. I don’t have to prove I’m right. They have to prove I’m wrong. Pointing out all of their wrongs can get monotonous – but could certainly fill a lot of time at a meeting. I could re-iterate last October’s EMERGENCY Meeting that I attended with tape recorder in-hand, it’s no secret, it’s big and not concealed. Anyway, the Pres. (who is clueless even what the word preside means) granted me the floor – I said what I came to say. One of the evil bitch directors (from Berkeley) was sitting next to me, she got the floor, and stated that members not-in-good-standing should not speak!!!!! Then, the Pres. gave the floor to the Head Evil Bitch, one of the Officers, who agreed with the un-informed sitting next to me. So, I didn’t get recognized to have the floor again. That alone I could run a long ways with. (Of course, I made a dramatic exit at the time). When I remembered and returned to flip the tape over, all hell broke loose – AS IF, all-of-a-sudden they saw the tape recorder. They scurried away into a shadowy Executive Meeting – just like rats on a ship jumping overboard.
No, no, I didn’t intend to detract from your thievery theory, I think it sounds solid, especially the cultural thieftress exchange.
-good story Forest, keep us informed, and thanx so much. You are right in honing in on the exchange as being the most important part of my direct action. I realized it was only when i contacted the victim afterwords that the act of stealing the shoes became a powerful one. Just stealing for stealing’s sake doesn’t interest me. At first when i did it i had a feeling for it, but i didn’t really understand what i was doing. But when i contacted the victim and she responded –that’s when the real work of changing societies values began. So next time, when i steal an oil truck, or an airplane, etc., suzy will contact the victim afterwords and “confess” the deed within a time framework. Then i’ll wait for a response. Then if i get a response i’ll work with the response. That’s the political strategy i’ve taken up based on the shoe theft’s timeline.
In that case the girl eventually said i should keep the shoes. We made an agreement that they weren’t her property or my property. That they were free of domain. Now they sit in a box, preserved for future reference point, never to be worn again. Their purpose as useful footwear has been totally reversed. I no longer own the shoes, nor does she. My feeling is that the more people become aware of what i’m doing that the higher the monetary value will soar. In effect they have become museum pieces which illustrate a history. This has a potential of skyrocketing their price-tag through the roof. They aren’t officially for sale right now but i have set a starting bid on them at $10,000. Don’t laugh folks, this is history in the making. Revolution now!. Values being reinvented. Eventually i expect to see the price go higher and the shoes to receive an honored place in a national museum of history as a seminal new age unowned object.
When values are changed and private property becomes obsolete, the shoes will stand as evidence marking one of the first direct actions involving cultural re-evaluation that suzy initiated. Originals, or first in a series, are rarities and bring a high price. I won’t be surprised if they someday fetch a several million.
Steal back Empire. Shame it. Mock it. Cut new air vents in it. Tell your own stories. Stand up to the brainwashing.
SOCIALISM
You have two cows.
You give one to your neighbor.
COMMUNISM
You have two cows.
The State takes both and gives you some milk.
FASCISM
You have two cows.
The State takes both and sells you some milk.
BUREAUCRATISM
You have two cows.
The State takes both, shoots one, milks the other and then throws the milk away.
TRADITIONAL CAPITALISM
You have two cows.
You sell one and buy a bull.
Your herd multiplies, and the economy grows.
You sell them and retire on the income.
VENTURE CAPITALISM
You have two cows.
You sell three of them to your publicly listed company, using letters of credit opened by your brother in-law at the bank, then execute a debt/equity swap with an associated general offer so that you get all four cows back, with an exemption for five cows. The milk rights of the six cows are transferred via an intermediary to a Cayman Island Company secretly owned by the majority shareholder who sells the rights to all seven cows to your listed company. The annual report says the company owns eight cows, with an option on one more.
AN AMERICAN CORPORATION
You have two cows.
You sell one and force the other to produce the milk of four cows.
Later you hire a consultant to analyze why the cow died.
AN ITALIAN CORPORATION
You have two cows, but don’t know where they are.
You decide to have lunch.
A SWISS CORPORATION
You have 5,000 cows. None of them belong to you.
You charge the owners for storing them.
A CHINESE CORPORATION
You have two cows.
You have 300 people milking them.
You claim that you have full employment and high bovine productivity.
You arrest the newsman who reported the real situation.
AN INDIAN CORPORATION
You have two cows.
You worship them.
A BRITISH CORPORATION
You have two cows.
Both are mad.
AN IRAQI CORPORATION
Everyone thinks you have lots of cows.
You tell them that you have none.
Nobody believes you, so they bomb the crap out of you and invade your country.
You still have no cows but at least you are now a Democracy.
AN AUSTRALIAN CORPORATION
You have two cows.
Business seems pretty good.
You close the office and go for a few beers to celebrate.
A NEW ZEALAND CORPORATION
You have two cows.
The one on the left looks very attractive.
A GREEK CORPORATION
You have two cows borrowed from French and German banks.
You eat both of them.
The banks call to collect their milk, but you cannot deliver so you call the IMF.
The IMF loans you two cows.
You eat both of them.
The banks and the IMF call to collect their cows/milk.
You are out getting a hair cut.
Those are some very valid concerns that you speak of regarding the use of water and how the perverted media presents its one-sided, narrow-minded, blind-sighted approach to the public. Why is the bearing-false-witness evil finger always pointing at the green growers of fine herb(s)? AS IF, it is the farmers who should hang their heads in shame. Hard to fathom that we’re slipped so deep-down the Matrix rabbit hole. That we even have the word ‘de-vegitate’ (for new infrastructure) in our part and parcel, common shared language, is scary.
Awesome sign! It goes without saying that people are much more important than weed. Some of the potheads on this site probably don’t get the joke, however.
Very funny and accurate listing of economic styles.
What about “forced capitalism”? Afterall, without over-population, none of this shit works, period.
Bartering for all,
No need for a banking and credit and insurance system to “caretake”.
Not that insurance is bad for everything, but the rip-off corporate masters are raking in much, much more than appropriate. Insurance unfortunately is a scam industry meant to profit bigtime, not only protect the insured. It is no wonder the insured policy holders are never “paid-off” 100% for their damages and injuries sustained. There is a local business who had a fence destroyed by an uninsured drunk motorist. The businesses own insurance company would not pay to repair their policy holder’s fence back to in-like-kind-condition. Instead, the adjustment could only “afford” (????????) a “Chain link fence”.
Insurance is for profit, not protection or 100% repair.
Terrible behavior by elitist corporate slave driving masters. No worry though, when it gets worse, their homes get ransacked, valueables get stolen, etc… Having lots of money will be a downfall for many who get ransacked.
I’m going to have to reply here to whomever implied that I slither on the “vinegar” thread. I ‘slithered’ up to the Eureka City Council meeting yesterday, and put these words into the collective consciousness that we can all access at any time:
Sometimes we come here to inform our Public Servants about what’s up. What’s up is the same what’s up as the last time I spoke in here, PLUS, not surprisingly, an added detriment labeled Eureka’s City Attorney publically threatening one of the people. That “one of the people” is called Bill by his friends. William Holmes to some. This “one of the people” is the only one of the people, in the State, who stood up to the CalPers Levithan, labeled City of Eureka. The City of Eureka can’t seem to even close last year’s books. The City of Eureka shamelessly sued the people! Let me repeat that, the City of Eureka sued the people. One more time, the City of Eureka sued the people. I’ll leave a copy of “what’s really up” with this fraudulent, deceitful, so-called CLOSED CASE. The City of Eureka ever so brazingly hired AT THE PEOPLE’S EXPENSE liars, oops lawyers from Sacramento – attorneys from the Sacramento pit of vipers.
April 8 @3:30 I filed under notary presentment, using the depository box at the court clerk’s side of the Administration building, my Affidavit regarding Case # DR120811, that had been heard early that morning. The following day my Fee Waiver request was granted. Normally once the Fee Waiver is o.k’d by the judge, the document, whatever it may be, is filed into the Public Court Record. There’s no other reason to grant a Fee Waiver than to let the document go forward and be filed into the Public. Wednesday, April 10th, I was told that the judge had my papers and he was DECIDING ON WHETHER TO ACCEPT DUE TO THE LENGTH OF THE PAPER!!! The length was/is “Legal” length – Duh. Thursday noon April 11th, the same female Revenue Generator at the counter in the Court File Clerk’s room told me that, “The judge has ruled, and the case is CLOSED. We cannot file any documents into that case.”
Do you think the people of Eureka, of Humboldt, are not looking? Why is Eureka’s City Attorney crying foul? Something is foul all right, and it’s stinking to high heaven.
So Anonymous (I’m guessing), what have you done today to aid our ailing society?
In speaking of spelling errors (Narration) on the ‘vinegar’ thread – I know there’s many spelling errors in my above post – what can I say, I was in a hurry to get to the CC meeting.
-i just got home and suzy is really really amped up. I spent the whole day on the streets, in and out of shopping centers, scoping out many objects of the sheeple’s desire, looking for what i want to steal next. And i’m happy to say that i believe i have today made a huge step. I located the perfect target to shoplift. It is an object gained by slave labor and torture. It’s big part of our capitalist superstructure and at the same time small enough to slip into my mouth. They say with great authority. “diamonds are forever”. We’ll see about that. LOL!
Thanks for the work Forest. suzy says –let those of no faith waste time debating on blogs over aluminum storms and what kinda ufo hit the pentagon, etc. And while they sit on one thumb and use the other clicking spellcheck, meanwhile it’s people like us out on the streets taking the path of direct action who are making a difference. NOW is the time. Stand up to authorities’ fake documents with your own stories of truth. Stand up high. LOL! Wear bright silks and walk on stilts when entering their dead arenas of cubicled monotony. Protest their lowly culture. Shame their gray outlooks with bright colors and loud music. Burlesque them, spin them around, suffocate them, steal their precious objects of desire, Watch them drown in there own fear and ignorance. Onward!
suzy, suzy, I knew I could look forward to encouraging words from you – eloquent as usual, and welcome. You know how synchronicity goes, and we were speaking of magic yesterday. Along comes such a message of gifting to me from a dear friend in Oregon, who did magic for me on the new moon and will seal it on Friday’s full moon, and bring it to me! How special is that? She knows that I have a fast freight train comin’ at me full speed. She is the lady who taught me how to make the hemp/honey bee’s wax cord to light my smok em.
Something that keeps coming to mind, as far as wearing bright attire when entering the dead venues, is ruby red shoes like Dorothy wore in the ‘color of law’ part in the Wizard of Oz. Size 5 please if you happen to spot any – ha ha. I could lease them from you and return them the same as when I pick them up.
In re-reading your post, I just ‘got’ the italicized> high part. How else would anyone venture into the darkness holding a candle?
Also, diamonds may be forever, however they are also a part of the big lie. When DeBeers monopolized the diamond market ages ago, they set the price. Diamonds, diamonds everywhere. The stone that’s worth it’s weight in quality, is (virgo’s own 🙂 sapphire.
Have you gone to a Paul Simon concert? One of the best-est I remember.
-no but i met Bonnie Raitt at a women’s festival a few months ago. She is a favorite. I love Paul Simon too. You are “lucky” to have experienced him, as they say. But suzy doesn’t believe in luck. It was meant to be. Of course there is always going to be some angry Mitch out there who wants to argue and say it’s not the workings of the Universe at all, LOL! And he’ll show you the proof on a bar graph with blue and red lines showing the mathematical possibilities. But we know what kinda bar he’s really thinking about.
The time for patriarchal male dominance, competition, and argument, is over. It’s too late for debate. NOW is the time for action, not words.
Nice hairsplitting. You did say “suffocate them,” and not just “watch them suffocate.” And delighting in the idea of watching people “drown in fear” doesn’t seem very uplifting either. In my opinion you have revealed a narcissistic attitude, and in general a very nasty streak…both here, and in your comments on the Judi Bari thread.
-your welcome to express your opinions and to label my character traits as you wish, but that’s all it is. What’s uplifting to one person isn’t to another. What one calls nasty, another calls naughty. It’s relative, Einstein. I shouldn’t have to have to explain this shit to you. This is a blog comment thread, it’s not a courtroom. No one’s on trial. Your judgement is marginal. Everybody here has opinions, mostly differing opinions. There’s a whole spectrum of opinions here. Mine are largely about realizing oneness and dissolving boundaries. In the old paradigm every narcissistic opinion mistakes it’s echo for itself. In the new paradigm, your echo is yourself. So what’s Echo telling you. Try listening for a change instead of jumping aggressively ahead with your old opinions. Don’t worry about suzy, i’m fine. Turn your head around and look in the big mirror. Then get out of yourself and into the streets and go DO SOMETHING! rather than sitting around on your ass trying to pick apart non-essentials.
“get out of yourself and into the streets and go DO SOMETHING! rather than sitting around on your ass trying to pick apart non-essentials.”
Judging by the number of your longwinded posts, it looks like you could do with some of that get off your ass therapy yourself…not that you’re likely to realize that.
But I won’t pester you any further, as clearly you believe your shit don’t stink, and thus you’re unlikely to benefit from being advised when its odor is particularly foul to those around you.
So carry on with your narcissistic, self-congratulatory ramblings. If you ever get bored with them, believe it or not, there’s a whole world out here beyond your ego, vast though it is.
We all reveal ourselves in our writing. Which, I suppose; is why so many people try to stay anonymous, they want life without consequences. Like children running around saying “I can do whatever I want, and you can’t stop me! You’re not the ‘Boss-O’-Me!”
It’s really too bad. The 1st Amendment shouldn’t be treated like it’s a crime to speak your mind. Keep this up and eventually the Constitution itself will become even more meaningless than it is now.
-Anonymous, if you really want to attack someone for being self-congratulatory and narcissistic then i suggest you try looking at your hero, Cherney . Suzy’s just an innocuous voice on the back pages of a tiny blog.

Grand Jury How? to and Why? & In a stunning 6 to 3 decision Justice Antonin Scalia, writing for the majority, confirmed that the American grand jury is neither part of the judicial, executive nor legislative branches of government, but instead belongs to the people. It is in effect a fourth branch of government “governed” and administered to directly by and on behalf of the American people, and its authority emanates from the Bill of Rights.
This is the solution to taking back our government county by county . . . state by state!

HOJ,
Should have said thank you to you sooner – for your detailed explanations of some of my posts (the D.A. one and the population reduction comment comes to mind). Hasn’t gone unnoticed.
I see agreement between us also on the individual{v}species subject. This nowtime of walking between the wor(l)ds gets murky in certain areas . . .especially the Corporate Commerce, fact/FICTION is a tripper.
About 3 years ago I lit a bonfire burning everything that had their Corporate created Trust with the ALL CAPS NAME on it. I, me, myself desire no assumed, presumed, or sussumed (work with me here) attachments, on or off paper. It was liberating motion. Martin Luther King said, “Take a step.

May 10, 2013 at 7:08 pm

May 10, 2013 at 7:23 pm
Eric Kirk

If it was legalized, the whole subculture would be destroyed. I think that’s one reason so many locals will always vote against legalization. I don’t even think it’s just greed. I think they like it the way it is. Or has been anyway.

Marijuana legalization is kind of an affluent white person issue but it shouldn’t be. There were interviews with African Americans who opposed Proposition 219 because they live with the consequences of drugs in their community every day. The legalization movement could benefit from a little outreach and communication with these communities.

I thought they made a good point.

Oh well, as if there are not MORE IMPORTANT ISSUES AND PEOPLE TO BE CONCERNED FOR. Immigration is a stale issue and will always be a stale issue because it ain’t about the person, it is about the process.
Unless of course you happen to be one of those people.

Of course it ‘works for you’ Eric – cha-ching.

And your basis for making this claim is….?
Are you aware of the fact that there was no cannabis in North or South America until brought here from the Old World? Are you really claiming that the Native Americans were incapable of “evolving” until cannabis came onto the scene?

As the carpenter’s focus is on the building – the beautiful end result, we too have to move our focus to the desired result.

suzy blah blah
Blessings.

* The question on everyone’s mind: Why hasn’t video footage of Silva been released?
* Debate erupts over cell phone video of Silva beating by officers. Witness: “I can still hear him.”

EF! Press Release:
Earth First Protests Green Diamond Logging
Comment:
Friends Of Trinidad forests and all others already involved in attempts
to protect these vital areas of our bio-region ……thank Earth First!

against Green Diamond.
It magnifies the need for all of us who are concerned

So when earthfirst says this: protecting rare and endangered species such as the Bishop Pine, Spotted Owl, and Marbled Murelet,
and restoring mature forest habitat.
It shows there fundimental lack of understanding of the issues. First of all Bishop Pine is not a natural stand type for the area. Secondly, a bishop pine stand will never make for NSO or Murrlet habitat.
If EarthFirst is going to have a skill building camp, they should include some ecology and forest science.

Forest Queen,
Thanks for your post at 1:10 yesterday about the police killing of David Silva in Bakersfield, it was the first I had heard about this story.

Thank you suzy – that should be a mantra, of type, heard above the roar of the noise that needs turned down.

Apparently the police have state that Silva was “possibly intoxicated” and that he fought with an officer who contacted him about that, and that his fighting with that officer is what led to so many other officers to respond as backup, which is why so many officers were involved in the incident. In the news report that can be found at this link…
http://www.mydesert.com/viewart/20130516/NEWS0801/305160005/FBI-probe-death-man-beaten-by-Kern-Co-deputies

No Forest Queen, I wont face “that”. That is absolute crap. How do you think we even know about spotted owls? How, for instance, can we find them, determine their nesting locations and understand their core habitat areas? If we didnt have 30+ years of scientific study there would be no protection for NSOs. Let alone an understanding of how various forest types interact with nesting habitat for owls and the prey base, which live in different forest types.
What I refer to as science are the tools forest activists should use to galvanize their work and make much more significant impacts to our long-term industry.

So, you’re welcome…and thank you.

May 18, 2013 at 4:17 am

May 18, 2013 at 5:05 am
suzy blah blah
-judging by your answer i guess you didn’t understand the question. Maybe you need an expansion on it. I can do that real easy: how much time do YOU spend in front of your computer?

Notice how secret people act, not very odd, but very predictable in trying to act like they never have said what they have just re-stated, even though what was previously said in duplicate form was attempted under a different “moniker” during a past article or forum.

More Not-A-Conspiracy Stuff FYI:

FQ,
Very funny and accurate listing of economic styles.

May 22, 2013 at 5:25 pm
suzy blah blah

-i did NOT say to drown anybody. I merely said, watch them drown, duh! Try pulling your head out dude and breathing the air. Peace, suzy .

May 22, 2013 at 10:17 pm
suzy blah blah

Take the first step up the stairs. You don’t have to see the whole staircase – just take the first step!”
I am not a doctor, a lawyer, an Indian chief, or a candle maker – to quote suzy, “Understand at your own risk.”
