if mr. phil is anything at all like he was on monday morning magazine, he is a complete ass, and a probable liar. i was embarrASSed for him. telling dennis he was here, because he would be at persimmons at noon, hogwash. where was he? really. i will not support anyone who surrounds themselves with a liar.

It’s today at noon. Either he didn’t say it right, or you didn’t hear it right. That doesn’t make him a liar. He may make some accusations here and there, but at least he has the courage to put his name to them.

Don’t worry Eric. I checked the poll records, anonymous doesn’t vote!

That’s funny. I checked the poll records, too, and it seems like nobody’s entitled to vote anymore.

I saw him in Eureka tonight. He’s older, but still sharp as a whistle. His film is very well done. Very good story-telling about a remarkable young man and a remarkable elderly man.
About 400 people showed up. The Eureka left wing of the possible. Kind of empowering to see them all in one place.

censorship testing

Oh is that splendid! I can post a censorship test and Eric posts it but censors my meaningful posts. How democratic of him! And to think, boys and girls, this political manipulator is playing your Prog political Salzman organizer and orchestrating your Prog political agenda. Too bad he, Salzman, Heraldo, are all intellectual fascists when it comes to fair play for their political opponents, censoring opposing views wherever they can and using phony ids so as to avoid legal responsibility in their political machinations. Let’s see if Eric posts this..

So what did people think of the visit/movie? I’m surprised at the non-follow-up.

Donahue supported Nader in 2000. I was looking at Solomon but not anymore. Had enough of Green fools.

thank you dave kirby, donahue is a nut. huber asked him on mmm “where are you? are you here or on the east coast?” and donahues answer was “i’m here, i’ll be at persimmons at noon”, to which huber has to tell him that he would not be at persimmons until wed, what an ass. supporting an ass.

Come on Kirby, don’t hold your cards so close to your chest. Tell us how you really feel.
I drove by Persimmons while Solomon and Donahue where there. I considered going by just to check out the crowd, but I seemed to remember that it was R.S.V.P. That, and I actually had other things to do.
I had assumed (foolishly) that there would be numerous comments here relating what had transpired. I am strange that way, I seem to get more out of other peoples impressions than I glean from the candidate themselves. After being sieved through other people thought filters a few times the essence floats to the top, and I don’t have to listen to all the rhetoric.

Mitch – Yeah, there were 400 people there (at the Eureka Theater), but obviously none of them my readers. The only Sohum person I recognized was fellow candidate Andy Caffrey filming the event.
Of course, we have the big debate coming up at the Mateel on Sunday!

If we want to stop Americans soldiers and their targeted Muslim communities from further dying we should not be waving even more Jewish over-representation in Congress in the faces of Muslim Middle Easterners. 2% of America’s population yet Jewish representation in White House foreign policy-making is far beyond that 2% with a majority of advisers being Jewish which makes it easier for the U.S. to play the puppet of Zionist Israelis. Elect a Muslim for a change of policy. Let other ethnic minorities have a chance at influencing U.S. foreign policy.

Eric, my world is your world too and I do think I am closer to Muslim Middle East sentiments than you are unless you too are welcome in Palestinian peace activist circles. Solomon may not be a Zionist but he is Jewish and Muslims, over a billion of them do not know enough about him to mark him differently from the rest of those who carry on the Jewish war against them over ownership and control of Palestine. I myself did not know his stance on Middle East policy until it was posted on the link above and I looked for it on his website months ago when his office ignored my email asking for clarification on Solomon’s stance on Israel and Zionism. It’s the constant monopolistic wall of Jewish foreign and financial advisers in the last presidential offices regardless of party that Muslims are seeing in American politics, just as they see the enormous support Evangelical Christians are giving Zionism in America. You don’t want to wave another Evangelical president at them and the same reasoning of avoiding provocative actions it would be wiser for peace purposes in the Middle East if we elected a Muslim or someone religiously neutral as well as an advocate for peaceful resolution of the I-P conflict.

Bottom line is Steven, you believe he should be defeated because he is Jewish. That is bigotry, no matter how many words you use to smooth it out.
January 15, 2012 at 5:02 am
Steve
No, Eric, I’m trying to save lives, Solomon’s included. Zionists in America with Evangelical Christian support are pulling another Saddam/WMD war mongering effort to start another war in the Middle East to defeat Israel’s political and military rivals for control of the whole Middle East region. Because this is something that benefits Europe, America, and all countries dependent on Middle East Muslim controlled oil reserves to function, they most often support Israel even though Israel holds the world’s record for U.N. violations, many more than Iran and refuses to let U.N. atomic energy regulators into Israeli nuclear facilities. Israelis have no regard for human rights or human life when it comes to acting exactly like Mafia bosses protecting their turf enterprises by assassinating rivals and anyone deemed a serious threat to Israeli national security which includes anyone who prominently is anti-Zionist. I’ve read some of Solomon’s stuff now and think if he were to reach Congress with his stated anti-Zionist agenda and acted on this in Congress, he would become a target for Israel as I am not aware of any elected Jewish U.S. congressman or Senator prominently anti-Zionist. It wouldn’t be allowed and in our Republican-rightwing dominated political climate would make most Jewish politicians unelectable He can play the anti-Zionist advocate here to local Prog audiences to some extent and in the Bay Area but most everywhere else? He’ll downplay any criticism of Israel if he wants to be elected and not alienate most of his constituents and Congressional collegues right off the bat. Muslims watching U.S. elections and Congress will not be able to distinguish Solomon from other Jewish elected officials and Presidential advisers unless Solomon right away identifies himself as anti-Zionist and again if he did that, he’d be dead politically in Congress right away and if he was really serious he might be really dead. So, I’m protecting him, Eric. You don’t run a black man for President in 1950′s America if you want to save that black man’s life and we’ve got a 1950′s America ideology going on now that has traded racial prejudice against blacks for racial prejudice against Muslims and hatred of Communism for hatred of Islam.

Eric, do you understand the linkage between your and Heraldo’s censorship of political opponents and fascist censorship of political opponents? What you and Heraldo are doing is scary, bud, because it isn’t a very big jump from censoring political opponents expression on public venues by those who control the public venues and violent suppression of political opponents. You are walking the fascist road, Eric, you and Heraldo and both of you are actively trying to manipulate Humboldt County politics by censoring political opponents. One can tell you’re being outed here by me makes you plainly schizoid, wanting to keep me from posting my criticisms yet always with your eye on your public image that fears being seen as too great a fascist repressor in democratic circles.

So according to Steven, if your Jewish and support Israel’s foreign policy you shouldn’t be elected — both because that position is morally wrong, and because it will inflame Muslims.
But, again according to Steven, if you’re Jewish and don’t support Israel’s foreign policy you also shouldn’t be elected — in this case both because he says Muslims can’t tell the difference between Zionist Jews and anti-Zionist Jews, and also because it would make the anti-Zionist candidate a “target” for Zionists.
In other words, according to Steven, we shouldn’t elect any , no matter what, and (except for which ridiculous justification is used) it makes no difference whether they’re Zionist or not.
What a completely asinine point of view.

You blocked him? But, he said he was trying to save lives…
Maybe that’s why Barney Frank is leaving! He’s afraid the Mossad’s going to come for him for being too critical of Israeli settlers…
I noticed something else for Steve. I’m fairly certain that there are no anti-hockey ex-Canadians in congress. That MUST mean that if one gets elected, Quebec will undoubtedly send a hit squad to take him out! There’s really no other possible explanation.
It’s OK to feed Trolls after midnight, right?
