Just so we’re clear, we’re talking about the guy who embraced Guatamala’s psychopathic former leader Rios Mont, who wiped out entire villages because they were run by Satan, as a force for democracy because he was “born again.” The guy who wants to ban Halloween nationally. Who blamed the 911 attacks on feminists. Who blamed Haiti’s earthquake woes on a national deal with Satan. Who warned the city of Orlando that flying gay and lesbian pride flags would result “earthquakes, tornadoes, and possibly a meteor.” Who publicly prayed for the deaths of liberal Supreme Court Justices.
And my favorite quote of all:
“(T)he feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians.”
Now he’s too liberal for the GOP!

He doesn’t disagree with their positions. He just doesn’t want to see the candidates measured by them in the primary season, because he realizes most Americans don’t find them acceptable.
It’s an interesting take on political strategy by a messenger of the Lord: sort of like “hide your right under a bushel.”
This is what anyone in the center and left thirds of the political spectrum have been told by the Democratic Party for roughly forever.

He might not be as crazy as he sounds. People send him more money than they send you and I all together.
“….leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians.”
You have to admit that there has been a lot of that going around lately. Maybe I should sent him money.

That’s the nicest thing I’ve ever heard anyone say about Pat Robertson. Perhaps it’s the nicest thing one could say about him.

Joel, we are in agreement that the man is a certifiable nut. And, no, I’m not going to send him any money. He is among what I call “the religiously insane”.

Frightening… and not in the candy-laced Halloween kinda way.
What I heard was a master manipulator talking about what it take to win and nothing about what is right or just.
Lastly, this is just my theory but… I think he’s actually talking about LDS and having a Mormon run for prez. The idea of a Catholic running 50 years ago was radical, then Evangelicals, now there a few legitimate mormon contenders. This is serious business in the Jesus industry and ‘merican politics. just sayin…
