Just took one of my periodic journeys onto Youtube to look for Sohum-relevant vids. The first one is a sort of “tour” of Garberville, most of it filmed outside of Garberville. Kind of a deja vu effect early on, revealing that the guy had probably already scored some local product.
Here’s Andy Caffrey’s film on the “Port-o-Potty Revolution.” (I get to mediate that thing next week!).
And these kids were hunting ghosts in the graveyard.

I think that my dear friend who is buried in that graveyard would get a big kick out of this. Me, not so much.

Eric, you asked my opinion about the Ghost Story.
1- I give a 99.9999% chance that it is a total fabrication.
2- That is not the Garberville Cemetery, there is no camera angle that will give you a graveyard descending up a hillside in the background, also there is no grassy hill behind the local cemetery.
3- The “Night scene” appears to be trick photography done in a photo shop with darkening and green color.
4- I’ve never heard of “Elias Morton”
.
5- Everybody before 1968 was in my family tree… you guessed it… Not family.
6- kids have too much time on their hands.

So they were probably driving through and concocted it for fun, probably while enjoying a latte at Flavors. Makes sense.
