This is too amusing to pass up this morning. Sara Palin may or may not run for President. But just in case she does, you should send her money!
She knows her base.
Methinks her 15 minutes are just about up and she’s sucking it for all she can get. Gotta make hay while the sun shines, which isn’t that long in Alaska in the coming months.

Wow, I don’t know if Rose can even defend her anymore

Hell, I’d donate if I thought she would really run and win the nomination, but I don’t think she even wants to be president. Pretending she might run is a lot more profitable and much less work. Besides, she’s got a lot of grifter years ahead of her before she’s too old to be president.

She probably won’t run, but she’ll still use her PAC to support like-minded candidates, which is what prominent but out-of-office politicians do.
It’s not as if she’s using the donations to buy new snowmobiles. Using political donations for personal affairs is about the quickest way for a politician to land in prison, no?

Well, there’s a bit of controversy about her PAC-financed road trip some months ago, and there are reportedly lots of bookkeeping tricks available, but generally speaking, you’re right Bruce. No snowmobiles, unless they’re needed to campaign.

Hmmm, I may create a PAC of my own
No. And snowmobiles might be a legitimate expense in Alaska. For sure all the wardrobe, hair-do’s, make up, travel, meals, lodging, etc. for her, her family, and staff, are.
PAC’s are a different kind of animal. Even Stephen Colbert has one. And I seem to recall that, depending on how the PAC is set up initially, theres not much to govern use of the money. She may be able to pay herself a salary to administer the PAC, or hire one of her kids to do it.

I’m sure pretending to run increases both the frequency and the price tag for her paid speaking engagements and the PAC pays for her travel. You can bet the PAC is paying for everything that can be remotely connected to her fake campaign.

Please run, Sarah. And if she runs, please nominate her, Republican primary voters. The nation will thank you for years to come.

Be careful what you wish for. If she doesn’t run, there is zero chance she could actually become president. If she does run, who knows? Remember Reagan? Bush?
Saw a poll on tv the other day, and she was within about 6-7% of Obama. Given the purging of democratic leaning voters now going on nationwide , it is just plausible enough to be really scary. And aside from crazy politics, ethics, etc., that nails-on-chalkboard voice of hers would be unbearable for any length of time.
I’d like to have a republican nominee who, if they did happen to win, wouldn’t be a catastrophy for our country and our planet. Far fetched, I know, but wouldn’t it be nice to have a little confidence in the other sides guy too?

Just watching the GOP debates. Gingrich wants to abolish foreign aid and encourage American companies to open businesses there instead. And the crowd cheered him.

The Republicans are truly Job-Creators…for the Chinese.
