Bummer! I guess she left a week ago, but I just read about it tonight. Her life as she described it was kind of like her movies.
When I was five I fell in love with Emma Peele of the Avengers, but had I seen Faster Pussycat Kill Kill I probably would have switched my attentions!

Don’t know if anyone remembers but Russ Meyer shot a lot of his movie “Up” here in Salmon Creek. Bill and his late wife Ann Barton of Phillipsville had some of the cast stay with them while they were here. Ann cooked meals for the cast and crew.

I sure don’t remember it. Wikipedia says it was filmed in 1965. I was only one year old.

And “Up” was shown at the Garberville Theatre. (Over the years, some very out-of-the-mainstream films have been screened there — anyone else remember the porno festival, the Ingmar Bergman series…?)

I’ve never actually seen the film, but I suspect the trailer is more interesting and sexy than the film as a whole.
