Ukiah to be a Starbucks-free zone

The Planning Commission removed the exemptions that would have allowed a Starbucks and a Peet’s (which I’m told is about to be bought out by Starbuck’s) to be built downtown.

Smart growth.  It’s not just for the Bay Area and Arcata anymore.
