The TS reports on it, and the precinct voting report is in.
Jackson took Fortuna, and also Eureka. Where are the Eureka progressives who used to vote in Kerrigan and defeat WalMart? Have they converted? Moved away?
There are already angry anti-Sohum comments attached to the article.
Addendum: Of course, the Mirror is on it – cheerful as ever.

Here’s what one person wrote on the Times-Standard comment forum, giving their considered opinion of the Sohum community:
“… Their wives and their children smoke and have sex with grandpa or anyone’s dog after they have taken a hit… ”
Apparently all it takes is one hit of the herb and the next thing you know, the whole family is commiting acts of beastiality as part of a multigenerational, incestous orgy!

Of course it was anonymous. The commenter is clearly terrified that someone might come to their house and force a hit of ganja smoke down the commenter’s throat, leading to the commenter being unable to resist their urge to re-enact Bob Sagit’s version of the joke called “The Aristocrats.”

Meanwhile, Rose seems to be conceding the next 4 or 5 elections:
“…it never hurts you to be better informed about the nature of the man who will be your DA for the next 20 years.”

Not reported in the TS, the precinct report shows that about 70% of SoHum voted against prop 19. Rio Dell and Fortuna, voted more for 19, only about 65% against.
I guess the strong anti-pot vote in SoHum is a result of those people having first hand knowledge of the public dangers of decriminalizing pot and ‘freeing the herb’. LOL
The label hypocrite is too mild for the SoHum crowd. Id’ say venal is closer because it carries a stronger moral condemnation. A Christian description would be there’s a special place in hell for you two-faced SoHumers.

After reading the Grand Jury report on the Gallegos office, I was prepared to vote for Allison. Jay Moeller’s comments about his experience with Allison caused me to flip flop. I voted for Paul but I have yet to be convinced that he is a competent prosecutor.

Moeller is an idiot.
