I’m also curious about the Hospital debate, the DA debate, and the Fortuna City Council debate. Anybody hear any of them?

I think they are in the KMUD archives. I was there. It was hot after a day of 102˚. The debates were not hot. I think the DA candidates have a real race. The Healthcare District debate was only 40 minutes long but there were some very amusing things said. There are clear choices in this race. Keep listening and I hope KMUD hosts a debate on air before the election. I’m sure we’ll be getting more into this in a couple weeks.

I’m listening now and I have to say Judi mis-spoke when she said 2 board members went to the Bd of Supes opposing the Mike Hoffman placement. She said it was very bad of them. Those 2 women, Nancy and Corinne, did not go. Just to set the record straight.

I have no idea who to vote for in the Hospital District race. How many choices do I get?

You get 3. After they are elected another person will be appointed by them (and the Bd of Supes). So we have great candidates and places to put them. I guess that’s the good news of the last years fiasco. We can elect them all. My choices for lots of reasons are Barb Truitt, Gary Wellborn and Corinne Stromstad.
