I don’t know who’s the bigger ditz between O’Donnell and the blond guy. The author woman is just nuts.

JEEZUS! The author pimping her no sex for welfare recipients, O’Donnell’s moral hysteria and the brainless pre-teen sex idol (why was he there?) turned Franken into the straight man. If O’Donnell’s deal with the devil pays off she is going to be wildly entertaining in the Senate, not that I believe she’ll win. That such an idiot as O’Donnell could even be considered for such an important elected position doesn’t bode well for our future.

Star Parker has been blessed by the powerful gravy train for black people who publicly express disdain for African Americans. It made a public figure out of the halfwitted Thomas Sowell, and took the unexceptional Clarence Thomas all the way to the Supreme Court.

I loved Franken’s response after he’d been talking to Parker about Chinese communists and drug dealers in the White House when O’Donnell says it’s a question about “morality.” Priceless.
Usually Maher balanced out progressives with conservatives on his show. He must have felt that Franken had the presence to hold his own.

Franken did a great job in spite of those bobble headed fools who wouldn’t stop yelling over him and each other. The disconnect between right wingers ranting about Clinton and communist China and their CEO funders who outsourced so much of our manufacturing to “communist” China is astounding. Someone should remind them that it was Nixon who opened the door.

Someone should remind them that it was Nixon who opened the door.
And even right about the time the show was being aired, it was Republicans teaming up with Clinton to give China MFN status.

Watching this made me feel better, Eric. Things haven’t deteriorated since the 90s nearly as much as I’d thought. The collapse must have happened earlier.

It started with Reagan and the construction of the right wing media echo chamber enabled by cancellation of the fairness doctrine and tax cuts, consolidated through the Clinton years with funding from the Koch Bros, Scaife, and the Heritage Foundation, etc. and grew more and more extreme as they gained in market share. Now they have a large and highly dedicated audience whose only source of information, by choice, is Fox or rant radio who believe NOTHING they hear from other sources. Now there are MILLIONS of people just as brainwashed as those 3 idiots
