Remember when voting against Defense Appropriations bills was referred to as “not supporting the troops?”
Apparently, filibustering defense funding in order to preserve discrimination against gays and lesbians is a patriotic duty, but voting against defense funds because of a little old thing like the war in Iraq being unjustified and counterproductive, well that was obviously unpatriotic.
Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.
