Addendum: There is indication that the Tea Party phenomenon is on the wane. But don’t tell that to Karen Brooks, who intends to run against Wes Chesbro on a Tea Party platform, whatever that is.
Meanwhile, a Democrat responds to the calls from the right to “start from scratch” with agreement.
And after meeting with Obama personally, Kucinich will vote for the bill.
And health care reform opposition is outspending pro-reform in advertising about 25 to 1.
Second addendum: Endgame approaches. For those not up on the process, well, unfortunately this cartoon doesn’t explain reconciliation.
And in the “my heart bleeds” department, here’s one “no” Democrat lamenting about the pressure on him to change his vote: “It’s clear to me they could care less about my political future.”

The tea bagger treatment of that guy with Parkinson’s was despicable.

Yes, that was despicable. Repulsive. Inexcusable.
And, sadly, typical.

That was kind of disturbing, although I think the gentleman got precisely the reaction he was hoping for.

Yes, I agree that he got what he was hoping for…he exposed those individuals as selfish, mean-spirited extremists.
There was quite a stark contrast between the guy with Parkinson’s, who suffers every day, yet remained calm and dignified ion the face of abuse, and his assailants, who simply want to keep more of their money, yet acted as if THEY were the ones suffering and aggrieved.

Well, it’s nothing compared to this. Conservatives are personally attacking an 11 year old’s “sob story” about his mother’s death due to lack of coverage.
