Heraldo reports 2500 to 3500 currently available building sites in rural areas. The Planning Department reports that it believes there’s enough inventory to meet projected demand. I’m not clear on the time frame for the projected demand.

It’s all just the usual delusional. The majority of those ‘possible buildable sites’ for the whole county are in Shelter Cove. Wanna buy 1500 of ‘em? No one else will–you can’t build on them! Your Planning Department at work.

How can “Blank-Unknown” report on anything? Why do you even legitimate the Herald? Cowards attacking people from behind a cloak of anonymity. I find the herald to be a despicable farce in regards to “Citizen Journalism.” It validates the corporate-propagandist’s view that “Blog-Journalism” is just a bunch of vain writers ripping off their local newspapers. That sounds like the Herald in a nutshell.

Well, there is Heraldo’s track record of over three years. I’ve heard a lot of complaints about Heraldo’s opinions and rhetoric, usually from people on the opposite side of an issue. But I haven’t heard many accusations of false or misleading reporting. So while you don’t know the individual, the blog itself has a record to judge by.
What’s funny is the prevalence of burning curiosity about Heraldo’s identity. I think Heraldo has Jimmy Hoffa’s body buried in his back yard.

Mr. Nice
Y’all shouldn’t concern yourselves too much with Heraldo’s identity. It’s only the mean-spirited folks who care and they’ll never find out because all their friends are a bunch of mean-spirited folks who don’t know. Well, and Hank Sims, but you know, stop snitchin’, basically.

I don’t give a rat’s toe about Heraldo’s Identity. Track record? You mean nitpicking stories from local reporters? There is no journalism involved in any of it. I do end up siding with HH’s enemies, only because it pisses me off to watch them (the blog) get a pass on the ethics that every other public writer and journalist has to abide by. If you don’t sign your name to information you are putting out that might hurt someone, then you are a gossip, not a news source.
“…oh, but Heraldo never claims to be a ……” yeah right. The scientific term is: “Chickenshit”

Heraldo
It’s not unusual for the Herald to cover stories the papers ignore, or to cover them before they hit the paper media. But hey, keep picking your cherries.

anyone know where Suzy can get a rat’s toe?
October 27, 2009 at 10:17 am
Mr. Nice
I have a rat graveyard if you really want a skeleton or two. There are some crows and possums in there too if you are in need of crow’s feet or possum skulls. I trust this is for some voodoo charm.

Country Gourmand
Your interest in fine cuisine is commendable… for the best rattoetouille, check the fall harvest traps set all over the county. Fresh toes are the best.
Some people ask permission before checking other people’s traps…
FYI.
