A Louisiana Justice of the Peace denied an interracial couple a marriage certificate, in consideration of the children they might have. I don’t know what to say about it. Everything I come up with seems trite.

How is he able to get away with this? The US Supreme Court settled this issue back in 1967 in Loving v. Virginia!

Isn’t any worse than gay people not being able to marry because of stupid obstacles like marriage “licenses.” Like you need a license for something birds do. What a load.
I like his take on interracial couples being more likely to break up. That’s the biggest bunch of crap I ever heard. He probably still uses the term “high yellow.” It is Louisiana, after all.
