On Saturday, July 18, 2009, the Mateel Community Center invites all to the 25th annual Reggae on the River. Presented as a full day showcase of the best in reggae and world music, the shores of the Eel River at Benbow Lake State Recreation Area will come alive for this silver anniversary celebration with performances by The Mighty Diamonds, Tanya Stephens, The Abyssinians, Etana, Majek Fashek, Queen Omega, Soul Majestic, and Woven Roots, along with vendors, a kid zone, and a great local vibe.
