yeah they were really packin ‘em in at the party, there was only about 50 people who showed up and that included the volunteers who went for the free food.

What a bullshit dismissive comment to make. You must be a strong supporter of community radio. Any other community organizations you’d like to rag on? How about Hospice, WISH, the Senior Center or the Mateel. What have you done for this community recently, or ever?
It may be that attendance was not overwhelming, perhaps even disappointing if you were expecting huge crowds. But I saw a steady flow of folks of all sorts and backgrounds passing through, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Maybe you think KMUD should hire some hotshot music promoter to produce the show? Know anyone who’s available?
And what free food are you referring to? The birthday cake? As one person, I’m glad to see all the volunteer support that KMUD gets from people who actually care about this community.

Oh well, I still haven’t mastered the art of bolding, italicizing, etc. Only the word you was supposed to come out bold.

I’ll add that it was reasonably well attended when I stopped in for the late afternoon. Many more than 50 people. 2 or 3 hundred would be my estimate. Maybe more as I wasn’t over where the music was.
