Garth has some portions of the meeting up on Youtube. I hope he gets Charlie Custer’s portion up, and Bonnie’s initial questioning.

Addendum: Here’s Paul G.’s statement following his hearing of the Trinidad account and Connor’s explanations. The video cuts in just after he’d said that maybe the officers should have their firearm privileges revoked. He goes on to say that he wants to investigate the situation more, but that it’s probably going to be moot because the County Counsel or B.O.S. is probably going to strip him of any influence on the Code Enforcement altogether.

I think it’s probably unfair to blame anything about the situation on him, except that he should have demanded clarification of the authority before signing off on any deputizations and used what little power he had to force the situation. 20/20 hindsight of course, but based upon the discussions he’s been having with County Counsel, we know that he had instincts he perhaps should have trusted a little more. Let’s see where he goes with this. I’ve a feeling that there will be some yelling behind closed doors Monday morning.

Addendum: I received an e-mail asking for more of my commentary. If you’re coming late, I made an earlier post with some links and some thoughts in the thread. I just received a couple of e-mails from Ron Sinoway with some codes I’m digesting. I’ll be posting a follow-up when I have it.
