Heraldo appears to have attended yesterday’s supervisor meeting and reports on Roger’s speech about property rights. The topic is a proposed development on the south side of Eureka, but it looks like Roger wants to establish a broader narrative about “takings” and restrictions on development, perhaps linking them to other issue to broaden his coalition.
Meanwhile, the Times Standard is reporting on tomorrow’s CLMP sponsored meeting about code enforcement. I’m not finding any mention of yesterday’s supervisor meeting and I thought I remember Rodoni mentioning in his KMUD interview on Monday that some crucial items were going to be discussed.
Addendum: Anon.r.mous at Super Happy Fun Blog argues that Rodoni’s Rainbow Ranch deal isn’t quite as sweet as his detractors make it out to be when you consider the time in which it was established and real dollars.
Second addendum: Heraldo admonishes us to avoid “conflating” issues. There are all sorts of overlapping agendas in the mix.
This is (edited per request) “mildly amusing.”
From This Day Online:
“We are very interested in the primaries. Don’t forget that Obama won in my state of Georgia. My town which is home to 625 people is for Obama, my children and their spouses are pro- Obama. My grandchildren are also pro- Obama. As a Super Delegate, I would not disclose who I am rooting for but I leave you to make that guess,” he said.
Huh.
